There are six ways of perceiving (someone as) a woman: two offenses entailing expulsion, two misdeeds, and two without offense. If, after falling asleep, one also sleeps in a woman's place, even without awareness, it is an offense entailing expulsion. Some say that even if it is not a woman here, but one perceives (it as) a woman, it is an offense entailing expulsion. There is no offense for one guarded by the owner. Fifth complete. In Shravasti. Acharyaka, with the seventeen assemblies, recited and dwelt, repeatedly debating and intimidating, calling them "ghosts," therefore, based on playfulness, with unpacified afflictions, the sixth was established. The so-called "even if thinking of joking" is thinking of playfulness. The word "also" refers to thinking of annoyance. So, how does an offense occur in this case? A bhikshu clearly intends to annoy another bhikshu, collects any unpleasant forms, sounds, smells, and tactile objects such as meat, and then says, "Those will kill you." Whether the bhikshu is afraid or not, as soon as it is said, it is an offense entailing expulsion. If one grasps any pleasant forms, etc., such as a king, and then says, "That will kill you," it is a misdeed. Annoying those who have been given precepts and other renunciants is also a misdeed. There is no offense in telling stories of sentient beings in hell, etc. There are six ways of perceiving a bhikshu as a bhikshu: two offenses entailing expulsion and four misdeeds. The so-called "perceiving what exists as existing" refers to the other six cases. Some say that even if it is not a bhikshu, but one perceives (him as) a bhikshu, it is an offense entailing expulsion. Sixth complete. In Shravasti. The seventeen assemblies and the six assemblies were playing in the water, knowing that (they) were about to sink into the depths. They hid their robes in the latrine and then ran away, therefore, based on playfulness, with unpacified afflictions, the seventh was established. The so-called "probationary nun" refers to those who are married and have reached the age of twelve, or young women who have reached the age of eighteen, who should be given the precepts of the six dharmas and the six dharmas in accordance. The six dharmas are: alone

Do not walk on the road. Do not swim across the river. Do not have desire for men. Do not live with men. Do not become a matchmaker. Do not conceal loud quarrels. The six conforming practices are: Do not take gold. Do not shave pubic hair. Do not dig the earth. Do not cut green grass. Do not eat without being given. Do not eat completely. The alms bowl refers to anything. The Dharma garment refers to that which has been distinguished. The net refers to the empty bag of the alms bowl. Some say that the net is the net itself, belonging to another alms bowl. The container of the alms bowl is permitted based on Indra. Other than that, the net and the bag are permitted to be carried by the sick and the elderly with vows. Having a bowl refers to a mouth bowl. The belt refers to the permission of three belts, namely: A buckle, a whip, and a buckle loop. Others first recite "braid." Tasseled, striped, and crescent-shaped ones, and gold threads, are prohibited because they are not suitable. Anything refers to needles, etc. A renunciate refers to one who is initially suitable for renunciation. For what is unsuitable, it will not become a fundamental offense. "Except for such a cause" means that there is no fault in hiding because of fear of theft by robbers, etc. Then how does it become an offense? Do you want to harm? Or is it okay to want to play? Whether it is that person's or another person's, whether it is that person or not that person. If one is aware of it there and hides it, whether or not it causes harm to others, as soon as it is hidden, it becomes an offense. An alms bowl of gold, etc., or abandoning the alms bowl, etc., or an unsuitable Dharma garment, or one that is not sewn, or one that is small in size, or one that has been given instruction, or one that has been promised or not promised, or one that has been returned, or a renunciate other than that, and the means of livelihood that conforms to the Brahmins, hiding one of them is a misdeed. Seventh. In Shravasti, giving Dharma garments to those who practice nearby.

And, those who think that (these clothes) are their own, change their words, and those who go to other places hand those clothes to him. He (the one who receives the clothes) also divides them, makes them dirty, and then puts them back in the same way, so the basis of giving and not giving monastic robes is established, and because of the afflictions of poverty and so on, the eighth is established. The so-called monastic robe is brocade, upper garment, and lower skirt. The so-called "giving" is definitely giving. The so-called "without confidence" is not despising. The so-called "using" is distributing. So, how does falling occur in this regard? A bhikshu gives clothes to a bhikshu, and he wants to wear them without contempt. If it is a perception of non-contempt, or hesitation, as long as it is distributed, the moment of distribution is a downfall. In the preparation stage, an evil deed is committed. Giving training, etc., or distributing unsuitable clothes without contempt, is an evil deed. If joy and love arise, as well as cherishing, and great joy arises after hearing, there is no downfall. There are six situations of perceiving non-contempt. Some say that even if there is contempt, if it is perceived as non-contempt, it is a downfall. The eighth is complete. In Rajagriha (ancient capital of Magadha in India, now Rajgir in Bihar), friends and those born on the ground saw the head of the nun Utpala touch the precious monastic robe. Because of talking about Sanghavasesa, the basis of practicing with Brahma is established, and because of unbearable afflictions, the ninth is established. The so-called "without basis" means not seeing, not hearing, and not doubting. The so-called "Sanghavasesa" is any of the thirteen. The so-called "slander" is to slander. For impure nuns, eleven grounds lead to downfall, and six grounds do not lead to downfall. For pure nuns, ten grounds lead to downfall, and five grounds do not lead to downfall. That should also be observed following Sanghavasesa. For whoever is Sanghavasesa, for him is the downfall. For whoever is a gross offense, for him is an evil deed, this is the difference. Giving training, or even for those who do not understand the language, if there is slander, an evil deed is committed. Whether pure or impure, if it is perceived as pure, or if there is hesitation, it is a downfall. If it is perceived as impure, an evil deed is committed.
