It is the same as before. The middle of it is the middle. The place called "Outer Garden" should be distributed among the monks after going to the monastery. If it is not distributed, it is a misdeed. If it is not suitable, there is no offense. If it is not suitable, there is no offense. Therefore, it is called suitable. "Exceeding" means that taking more than three full bowls is an offense. Then, how does the offense occur? A monk takes three large ones, or two large ones; one medium one, or two large ones; one small one, or two medium ones; or one large one is also acceptable. In short, if taking more than five and a half small bre'u, it is a misdeed at the time of taking. If eaten, it is an offense. Taking from the homes of gods, dragons, yakshas, hungry ghosts, heretics, or wanderers, or having others take it, taking more than three; or because of agreeing but not agreeing, so at home; or because of not agreeing but agreeing, taking from the agreed time, it is a misdeed. If taking by appointment through letters, etc., or having others take it, it is a misdeed. For taking more than necessary, it is understood as taking more than necessary in six ways. Even if staying there and eating more than necessary, there is no offense. Like this, except for flour and burdens, taking other things, and when the donor says "as you please," there is also no offense. Giving with faith will result in three offenses: giving to those who have discipline or perfect views, but instead giving to those who are immoral or have degenerated views; and where one has taken more than necessary but has not eaten; even eating one bite will result in an offense. The third (part). The tenth volume of "Condensed Vinaya." In Shravasti, the Blessed One said that because I eat alone, I feel the merits of having a small heart, etc. You should also eat alone. When the monks are eating, they see a place like that of the master, stand up from their seats and say that we have abandoned it, so they do not eat. Then, to what extent can one abandon it? After the food has started, do not stand up. The group of six monks, whether they abandon it or not, because they eat, it is the fourth (part).

etc. The so-called "already eaten" is the complete abandonment of the thought of wanting to eat. Thus, for those who want food, it is not that they have completely abandoned it with words. Or, the so-called "already eaten" is called abandoning eating. If one does not eat, if one says "enough," it also shows that it is not abandonment. The so-called "abandonment" is abandoned through five ways: regarding food as food, that is, food exists through the nature of preparation and eating; also regarding the women, men, and hermaphrodites who distribute food as existing; also regarding eating food as eating; also abandoning the five natures of food; and surpassing the cushion on which one sits, thus standing up. Conversely, these five ways themselves are not abandonment. Again, there are five: abandoning suitable food, and the previous vegetables, etc., mixed with suitable food; not placing the word "etc."; mixing with things that do not place the word "etc."; and becoming the fifth from behavior. Conversely, these five ways themselves are not abandonment, because for those who do not regard food as mixed with food, it is not abandonment. Five things: rice, hot porridge, yogurt, meat, and fried foods will be abandoned, but vegetables, etc., will not, because fish is included in meat. Therefore, adjusting the five natures of root, stem, leaf, flower, and fruit, preparing five foods to eat, and conversely, that is abandonment. The five sentences with remainder are: put down for a while, give for a while, leave for a while, already eaten for a while, enough for a while. Without a sound like "for a while," or if these five sentences have no remainder, it is not wanting to eat. Even if someone who wants food sometimes speaks words without remainder, it will not become abandonment. Where do you see my things exhausted? Give with a mind of generosity. The so-called "not leaving a remainder" starts from discarding the remainder of a sick person, therefore, he will abide in touching happiness, and all the Dharma that should be given.
