One should preach the Dharma starting from the senior monks (sthavira) up to the newly ordained monks. A ladder should be made for the lion throne. Base liquid should be poured into the spittoon and placed. It should be cleaned from time to time. It should be dried. The cushions for listening to the Dharma should be arranged in the shape of a pond or a crescent moon. If patrons obtain cushions for the monks, they should donate them. If they carry them themselves, that is good. If they do not carry them, the small ghanta should be struck, and the residence managers should take them. If it is obtained for oneself, it should also be donated, and a monk should be appointed to guard it. Sitting in one place, one should recite and contemplate. When it is dirty, it should be taken away. If it is soiled by wine dregs, it should be washed. If it is stained with oil, use bean flour. For unclean things, etc., use earth. When preaching the Dharma without a cover, if it rains, discard the cushions and do not get them dirty. Wherever one sits, go to that place. If the elderly find it heavy, then place them separately afterwards. If a householder spreads a cloth decorated with gold and silver on the lion throne, it should be said that this is the householder's cloth, and one should abide in contemplating impermanence. If bedding and cushions are found in the temple of the monastery, which was also built by the patron himself, they should be donated. When taking them away, if it rains, put them next to trees, etc., and cover them with old clothes. After the festival is over, they should be retrieved again with ropes. How the residences should be determined, one should fully enjoy them accordingly. If it rains without a cover, and if the Buddha statue placed in the shade of the Jambudvipa tree is incomplete, then the concept of the Buddha should be placed nearby and placed. When the Acharya and Khenpo go to the activity place during the day, the residents should take the cushions and go. Even if the Acharya and Khenpo do sweeping or sewing work, they should try to do small things. If one is assigned to sweep or sew robes, there is no downfall. When reciting, one should recite away from the vicinity of hearing. One who abandons, without receiving instructions, should also abide in a solitary place.

It should be done like that. If it's your turn to be on duty, you should report it before leaving. If he needs to do other work right away, he doesn't need to come back and report. Those cushions should also be taken by themselves. You should also report when carrying and returning them. If you go to another residence, you should strike the gaṇḍī (Tibetan: གཎྜཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: गण्डा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: gaṇḍā, Chinese literal meaning: gaṇḍī) at a time that everyone agrees on. You should also check your own entourage. The abbot of the Sangha should check the newcomers. Whoever comes after closing the door of the temple should put the cushion next to a tree or wall and leave. If you cut food at random, it will become a serious offense. If a householder sits on the Sangha's cushion, then gets up and leaves it, whoever sees it should put it back inside. If you can't, you should tell the supervisor. When there is no cover, many residences should be dried separately, and you should not leave it to just one person. If such a thing happens, you should strike the gaṇḍī (Tibetan: གཎྜཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: गण्डा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: gaṇḍā, Chinese literal meaning: gaṇḍī). Don't become attached to it and treat it disrespectfully. The monks sitting there should treat it respectfully and put it back inside. When they hear the sound of the gaṇḍī (Tibetan: གཎྜཱི, Sanskrit Devanagari: गण्डा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: gaṇḍā, Chinese literal meaning: gaṇḍī), they should also leave respectfully. If there is a fire, you should first take out your own bowl and robes, and then the Sangha's. A weak person should be left to guard. You should not enter a place that cannot withstand fire. You should not regret what was burned either. Similarly, you should also talk about the situation of a flood. It is harmful to the individual, but not to the Sangha. If you don't do as it is said for all things, it will become a serious offense. The fourth (matter). In Shravasti, monks from the southern roads laid out grass mats, and the temple was filled with grass mats. They controlled the foundation of the residence, and due to the afflictions of slander and laziness, constituted the fifth (matter). Sangha refers to the Sangha from the four directions. Other temples are misdeeds. A temple refers to a place that can accommodate four codes of conduct. If you leave, you are leaving the vicinity. The vicinity is the same as before. Monk...
