The so-called "bowl not blocking water" means that the bowl can block the torrent of rushing water, so it is called "bowl not blocking water." Therefore, do not use the bowl to do those wrong things, and protect and learn the bowl as if cherishing your eyes. Here, if you do not learn in that way in the actual situation, it will become the actual situation of the transgression that should be repented of. The agent here is the bowl placed on the ground without a base, as well as garbage dumps, cliffs, steep places, standing places, and blocking torrents of rushing water. The limbs here are each one, namely the actual practice. As for the combination and the practice of the combination of combinations, one should be reproached according to the circumstances, which is the same as before. From "one should learn not to pour food scraps into the bowl without discarding them" onwards, all of this should be combined with the brief precepts and their detailed explanations as stated in "one should protect the bowl as if cherishing one's eyes." Adding these nine precepts to the previous seventy-three precepts makes eighty-two. In short, the sutra summarizing the precepts mentioned in "standing and so on, five things" is: one should learn not to stand and teach the Dharma to someone who is not sick and is sitting. One should learn not to sit and teach the Dharma to someone who is not sick and is lying down. One should learn not to sit on a low seat and teach the Dharma to someone who is not sick and is sitting on a high seat. One should learn not to walk behind and teach the Dharma to someone who is not sick and is walking in front. One should learn not to walk on the side of the road and teach the Dharma to someone who is not sick and is walking on the road, these are what one should learn. In short, the sutra summarizing the precepts mentioned in "head coverings and so on, five things" is: one should learn not to teach the Dharma to someone who is not sick and is wearing a head covering, a turban, tilting their head, crossing their neck, or crossing the back of their head, these are what one should learn. In short, the sutra summarizing the precepts mentioned in "wearers of hair knots and so on, five things" is: one should learn not to teach the Dharma to someone who is not sick and has a hair knot, is wearing a hat, has a crest on their head, is wearing a garland on their head, or has something wrapped around their head, these are what one should learn. In short, "riding elephants and so on,"

5. The Sutra of Collecting the Trainings, which says, "Thus it is said," is to teach that one should not teach the Dharma to those who are not suitable, such as those riding elephants, riding horses, sitting in palanquins, sitting on mounts, or wearing shoes. The verse says: "Holding a staff in hand, etc., six." The Sutra of Collecting the Trainings, which says, "Thus it is said," is to teach that one should not teach the Dharma to those who are not suitable, such as those holding a staff in their hand, holding an umbrella in their hand, holding a weapon in their hand, holding a sword in their hand, holding a weapon in their hand, or wearing armor. The origin of these twenty-six trainings is: The Buddha Bhagavan was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, in the Garden of Anathapindika. The Six Groups were teaching the Dharma to unsuitable listeners, such as standing to teach the Dharma to those who were sitting, sitting to teach the Dharma to those who were lying down, sitting on a low seat to teach the Dharma to those who were sitting on a high seat, walking behind to teach the Dharma to those who were walking in front, walking on the side of the road to teach the Dharma to those who were walking on the road, teaching the Dharma to those who were covering their heads, wrapping their heads, tilting their heads, crossing their necks, or crossing their backs, teaching the Dharma to those with disheveled hair, wearing hats, wearing hair knots, wearing garlands, or wrapping their heads, teaching the Dharma to those riding elephants, riding horses, sitting in palanquins, sitting on mounts, or wearing shoes, teaching the Dharma to those holding a staff in their hand, holding an umbrella in their hand, holding a weapon in their hand, holding a sword in their hand, holding a weapon in their hand, or wearing armor, Brahmins, householders, those with hair, noble ones, etc. The Bhagavan, with three countless eons of diligent practice, with countless hundreds of thousands of practices, perfected the six perfections, attained unsurpassed wisdom, and to you unsuitable listeners, such as those sitting without dignity or respect, teaching the Dharma by walking, etc.
