It should be practiced in this way. Here, regarding the establishment of the root downfall, if one does not act accordingly during the root stage, it becomes the root of an act of wrongdoing that should be confessed. The agent of this is the acquisition of the bowl and the food itself. The branch of this is one, namely the accomplishment of the root itself. Regarding the accomplishment of the preliminary and the preliminary of the preliminary, one should rebuke them as appropriate, as mentioned before. The sixty-fifth training is complete. The basis for learning to eat without shaking one's hands is that the Buddha, the Bhagavan, was staying in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, Anathapindada's Garden. When the Six Groups were eating food in other people's homes, they would shake their hands, and the monks would be splashed with water from their hands. When the monks rebuked them, the monks requested the Bhagavan, and the Bhagavan, as before, established that one should learn to eat without shaking one's hands. The place was Shravasti, the person was the Six Groups, the affliction was carelessness, and the fault was shaking one's hands while eating. Not shaking one's hands means not shaking off the food stuck to one's hands, or not wiping the food stuck to one's hands on one's tongue. One should learn to eat food well in this way. The basis for learning to eat without shaking the bowl is that the Buddha, the Bhagavan, was staying in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, Anathapindada's Garden. When the Six Groups were eating tsampa in other people's homes, a monk wearing a red kasaya was sitting below them, and the Six Groups said: "Friends, dear ones, we hungry people seem to have never worn such a kasaya before."
