Here, there is only one branch: the actual practice itself. As for the preparations and the preparations for the preparations, they should be reproached as appropriate, as mentioned before. The thirty-third precept is complete. The basis for learning to sit on a cushion in another's house without crossing the legs is as follows: The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was staying in the place of the Shakyas, in the Nyagrodha garden. The group of six monks, crossing their legs in another's house, were seen by Brahmins and faithful householders, who reproached them, saying, "The noble ones are like gamblers and sons of reeds. This is not proper conduct. You should not sit like this." They said, "Wise ones, there is a need for this." "Noble ones, what is the need?" "First of all, you should be free from ignorance and learn." Hearing their extensive reproaches, the monks at that time reported to the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan thought, "What the householders say is true." Thus, as before, he made the rule, "One should learn to sit on a cushion in another's house without crossing the legs." The place was the place of the Shakyas, the persons were the group of six, the affliction was improper conduct, and the fault was crossing the legs and sitting on a cushion in another's house. The meaning of "not crossing the legs" is not sitting with one leg on top of the other. One should learn to sit on a cushion in another's house in this way. Here, the classification of the actual transgression is as follows: In the case of the actual situation, if one does not learn in this way, it will become the actual basis for an offense to be confessed. The agent of this is crossing the legs and sitting. Here, there is only one branch: the actual practice itself. As for the preparations and the preparations for the preparations, they should be reproached as appropriate, as mentioned before. The thirty-fourth precept is complete. The basis for learning to sit in another's house without crossing the thighs is as follows: The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was staying in the place of the Shakyas, in the Nyagrodha garden.
