are the five foods. "Just preparing" means the five preparations. "Food material" means the raw material for food. "Giving a little bit" after saying, refers to Shakya's son, Neyedak. "For making clothes" means to obtain clothes. Wages like this, or food, or just preparation, or giving a little bit of food material, such as the hagga's ladu obtained from the house of the maid Phrengdenma, etc. "The clothes are finished" means the clothes are obtained. "Nissaggiya Pacittiya" means the same as before. Here, the fundamental downfall is categorized: the donor and the weaver are laypeople, not relatives, and the thought of weaving arises for the sake of the monk. If the donor's concerns, etc., are exhausted, and the clothes are finished without paying the weaver, then it becomes the basis for the Nissaggiya Pacittiya of generating weaving. The agent here is: arising from the thought of making it for that monk, and the tool is large, or the fruit is good, the weaver must be involved, and the giver does not allow it for that purpose, etc., are the agents. In this regard, the fundamental downfall occurs through six limbs: the donor and the weaver are laypeople, not relatives; the monk had the clothes woven for that monk; the monk generated the thought of weaving; if the donor's concerns, etc., are exhausted; the weaver was not paid; and the clothes were finished. Among these, if the limbs are incomplete, they are blamed accordingly. The Nissaggiya Pacittiya of generating weaving is the twenty-fourth. The beginning of the Nissaggiya Pacittiya of robbing is: Buddha Bhagavan lived in Jeta Grove (Jetavana) in Anathapindika's Garden in Shravasti (Jetavana). A monk named Dharma, who lived with Ananda, had a sense of shame, remorse, and wanted to restrain himself. He lived with Ananda until he did not understand that Ananda was practicing bad behavior everywhere. When he understood that Ananda was practicing bad behavior everywhere, he began to live with the monks who were naturally abiding, and through the Bhagavan's teachings and the three times.

merely to go and prostrate at his feet. Then, the Blessed One said to the Venerable Ānanda: Ānanda, go and tell the monks: The Tathāgata is going on a tour to the Kosalas. Whoever among you is willing to go on a tour to the Kosalas with the Tathāgata, let him do the work of the Dharma robe! The Venerable Ānanda, having heard Ga-wa thus informing the monks, said to Nye-ga: If we stay here, a hundred doors will be closed, and we must somehow go and beg for food. If we go to the Blessed One's side, it is said that there are eighteen benefits to the Buddha's departure, and countless beings will also go, so we will have to drink turbid water for a while, and we will not even be able to get a place under the trees. If we lead some wise monks and get offerings, who would refuse? Nye-ga said: Entice the monk Chu, who lives with you, with wealth and take him away! Then, Ga-wa said to the monk Chu: When he comes to you asking to sew a Dharma robe, say: I will give you a Dharma robe, you don't need to sew it yourself. Then, Chu put on the Dharma robe given by Ga-wa, offered his large piece of cloth to the Sangha, and gave five old Dharma robes to a beggar. Then, Ga-wa said to Chu: You follow me! Chu did not agree, and Ga-wa snatched back the Dharma robe he had given him. Then, the monk Chu, without a Dharma robe, followed the Blessed One on a tour. The Blessed One saw this and said to the Venerable Ānanda. The Venerable Ānanda told the Blessed One the details of the matter. Then, the Blessed One said as before: If any monk gives a robe to a monk, and then becomes angry, agitated, and threatening, and takes it back or has it taken back out of displeasure, and says to the monk: I will not give you a robe.

If someone says, "Please return it," and if the monk, because there is a remainder, gives and returns it, he commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. This was established by the Blessed One. The place was Sravasti (Mnyan-yod). The person was Ananda (dga' bo). The affliction was intolerance. The offense was taking back a gift. Among these, "monk" refers to the son of the Sakyas, Ananda, or anyone else like him. "To a monk" refers to this Dharma holder. "Cloth" refers to any of the seven types: wool, sana cloth, zarma cloth, dugula cloth, cotton-wool cloth, kotamaba cloth, or nyo cloth. "Having given" means not needing to return it. "After that" means another time. "Having become angry, agitated, and threatening, and being displeased" means being angry and displeased. "To rob?" means oneself. "Causing to rob" means another. Among these, if someone says, "Monk, I will not give you clothes, please return them," it means saying those words with the intention of taking back. "The monk" refers to whichever monk it is. "Having a remainder" refers to whatever his remainder is. "Should be returned" means should be given away. "If returned" means having separated from the body. "Commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya" means the same as before. Among these, here the fundamental offense is classified: What should be taken away is the monk himself, what should be robbed is any non-self-owned utensil such as clothing, or by his or his appointed body and speech combined or separated, entering into the purpose of robbing, and when it ultimately becomes a thing different from the body, it becomes the root of the Nissaggiya Pacittiya of robbing. The agent here is: what should be taken away is the monk himself, what should be robbed is non-self-owned clothing etc., or by his or his appointed body and speech combined or separated, entering into the purpose of robbing etc., these are the agents. Here, with five limbs, it becomes a fundamental offense: what should be given is the monk himself, what should be robbed is any non-self-owned utensil such as clothing, and his or his appointed body.
