Regarding the fundamental precepts and the sutras spoken by the Sugata, if someone speaks in accordance with the Dharma and the Vinaya, do not do what should not be blamed. O virtuous one, only do what should be blamed. O monks, if someone speaks to a virtuous one in accordance with the Dharma and the Vinaya, the virtuous one should also speak in accordance with the Dharma and the Vinaya. Like this, one should admonish through admonition. What are the benefits of doing what should be blamed? Like this, etc., the Buddha has already said. If one person does what should be blamed to another person, that is one person discussing another person. One person teaches and instructs another person, that is one person teaching another person. One person rescues another person from falling, that is one person purifying another person's fall. Like this, the teaching of the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha is the teaching of the teacher. This assembly refers to the Sangha. Will increase, refers to everything before. O virtuous one, you should admonish, saying, 'Let go of this cause that leads you not to do what should be blamed.' Like this, one should admonish through admonition. The cause of not doing what should be blamed refers to the action of not doing what should be blamed. When the monks admonish that monk in this way, that is to prevent through admonition. If that basis, refers to difficulty and unpleasantness. If abandoned, refers to complete abandonment. If done that way, then it is good, because doing that way is good. Only a minor mistake is made, but no serious mistake has occurred. If he does not give up, that is, if he does not give up completely. If he does not give up such admonition, then a minor mistake will be made in the fabrication, and eventually a serious mistake will occur because he does not give up the admonition. In order to abandon that basis, one should admonish correctly two or three times. It should be correctly instructed, which refers to the petition and the admonition through the four karmas, as stated before.

It should be admonished in this way. The so-called "twice or three times" means that after making one request, three karmic statements should be made. As before, one should admonish truthfully and show truthfully. If one truly admonishes and truly shows the way twice or three times, if one abandons that basis, that would be good. That is good because the root downfall of sanghavasesa will not occur. Previously, when starting to prepare, one commits a minor offense. At the end of admonishing without abandoning, one commits a grave offense. At the end of completing the request, one also commits a grave offense. At the end of completing the first karmic statement, one also commits a grave offense. At the end of completing the second karmic statement, one also commits a grave offense. If he does not give up, it is sanghavasesa, which means that at the end of completing the third karmic statement and the conclusion, one root downfall of sanghavasesa will arise. The so-called sanghavasesa is as before, therefore it is said to be sanghavasesa. Here, the root downfall is distinguished: If a bhikshu argues with increased vows, and he himself thinks that he should not be blamed by the bhikshus, if he does not give up, he will become a sanghavasesa. The difference is that if the bhikshus argue and remember an unpleasant bhikshu, he himself says: "The Tathagata bhikshus who abide in the ten directions, all the Sangha should not blame me with all the training grounds belonging to the increased vows." If the Sangha admonishes and prevents with requests and four karmas, at the end of the third karmic statement together with the conclusion, if he does not give up, he will become the root of sanghavasesa. The author here is unpleasant and has done actions such as arguing. In this regard, with six limbs, it will become a root downfall: unpleasantness, arguing, remembering, thinking that one should not be blamed, preventing with conformity to the Dharma, and not giving up at the end of the third karmic statement. If those limbs are not complete, there will be a reduction as appropriate. Unpleasant Bhikshu
