Without engaging in sexual intercourse, without wasting semen, just the thought itself; or touching? Or allowing oneself to be touched. If any of these (conditions) are incomplete, then punishment should be given as appropriate. This is the fifty-ninth downfall belonging to the basis of enjoyment. The story of the downfall of bathing is: The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was staying in Rajagriha, in the Light Garden, the abode of the Kalanda bird. In Rajagriha there were three hot springs, the first was where the Magadha king Zao Xing Xing Jing bathed, the second was where the concubines and retinues bathed, and the third was where the townspeople and villagers bathed. The Magadha king Zao Xing Xing Jing thought: I have offered the Bhagavan and the Sangha of Hearers all the necessities in various ways, but I have not offered bathing, I should offer bathing. So he reported to the Bhagavan: Venerable, there are three hot springs in Rajagriha, please you and the Holy Ones bathe where I bathe, and please the Holy Mothers also bathe where the concubines and retinues bathe. The Six Groups arose with this thought: Friends, dear ones, the Magadha king Zao Xing Xing Jing is faithful, let's see what kind of faith he has, and then go bathing. They went there to bathe, and then said: Friends, dear ones, if we all bathe together, it will be over quickly, two people bathe, and four people help. After that, again two people bathe, and four people help. After that, again two people bathe, and four people help. In this way, two of them started to bathe, and four people helped and sat. At that time, the Magadha king Zao Xing Xing Jing also came there to bathe, and he sent someone belonging to the non-concealers to see who was bathing now. That person saw the Six Groups bathing, and the king put a small seat there and sat down. After a long time, he sent someone to look again, and it was still the same. After a long time, he sent someone to look again, and it was still the same. The king said: Wise ones! Oh, you have (bathed for a long time)
