After being tamed by Shariputra, having ordained and received full ordination in the well-spoken Vinaya, having realized the fruit of Arhatship, and relying on this, when countless ordinary people also attained the noble fruit. The Six Groups arrived in Shravasti, and the monks said to them: "Welcome, venerable ones! Welcome! Where did you come from?" Venerable Shariputra, from the south, defeated the well-known heretic Brahmin wanderer named Charka, who wanted to debate and came for the sake of debating materials. He completely won the battle. The Six Groups said: "Venerable ones, like this, Venerable Shariputra is the second with a group, the general of the Dharma, the one who turns the wheel of Dharma. What is so amazing about defeating one heretic? Even if Venerable Shariputra had not defeated him, the Blessed One has been dwelling here from the beginning, so that is not so amazing. It is amazing that we six people defeated sixty naked heretics." In which knowledge place? With the knowledge of sticks, teaching the Dharma on the body. Is it alive or dead? At that time, if alive, is it alive now? If dead, there is no saving it. Saying this, why do the monks, the monks with few desires, use their limbs, the limbs that should be ashamed of, to be arrogant, thus scolding. Throwing stones, saying bad things at that time. The monks prayed to the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One, as before. A monk who spends the night in one dwelling, not because of illness, should eat one alms meal. If he eats more than that, he commits a downfall, thus it was established. The place is Shravasti, the person is the Six Groups, the afflictions are greed and strife, the fault is spending the night in one dwelling and eating more than one alms meal. Spending the night in one dwelling means spending the night in the dwelling of heretics. A monk means a person of this doctrine. Not because of illness means not being sick. Should eat one alms meal means eating once. If he eats more than that means, if he eats more than once.

O! The one called 'offense of falling' is as before. Here, the actual offense is established separately: If a monk who is not ill stays overnight in the dwelling of a non-Buddhist, householder-owned, heretical person, and without being invited by the patron, eats alms on the second day, it becomes the actual offense of eating in the dwelling. The agent of this is: a monk who is not ill, not invited by the patron, the dwelling of a non-Buddhist heretic, owned by a householder, is the agent himself. This offense becomes an actual offense with six limbs: the monk is not ill; not invited by the patron; the dwelling is not of this Buddhist religion, but of another heretical one; owned by a householder; the monk has eaten and stayed there for one night, and eats alms on the second day. If those limbs are incomplete, then depending on the circumstances, a minor penalty is imposed. The thirty-second offense is eating in the dwelling. The basis for the offense of taking more than three begging bowls: The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was dwelling in Jeta's Grove, Anathapindika's Garden in Shravasti. In Shravasti, there was a householder who took a wife from the same caste and played with her, rejoiced, and enjoyed happiness together. They had a daughter with a crippled right leg, and they raised her and she grew up. When all the other peers of that daughter were married off, because that daughter was crippled in the right leg, no one came to ask for her hand. In Shravasti, there was another householder who took a wife from the same caste. That man's wives had all reached the age of childbearing. He took a second wife, a third, up to the seventh, and they had all reached the age of childbearing. That householder became known as the 'wife-killer' because of the evil deeds he had committed, and even other people's daughters and widows dared not marry him, so he cultivated the land himself and lived. One of his young friends said, 'If that's the case, then ask for the crippled right-legged woman.' So he went to the parents of the crippled right-legged woman and asked for the crippled right-legged woman as his wife.
