Furthermore, what is it that arises from bamboo and from the ocean, and also from planting pods, the pods themselves are born? What are the seeds that spread? They are Arjaka (Arjaka, Devanagari: अर्जक, Romanized Sanskrit: arjaka, literal meaning: Arjaka) and Sarjaka (Sarjaka, Devanagari: सर्जक, Romanized Sanskrit: sarjaka, literal meaning: Sarjaka) and Paninarjaka (Paninarjaka, Devanagari: पनिनर्जक, Romanized Sanskrit: paninarjaka, literal meaning: Paninarjaka) and Bustrina (Bustrina, Devanagari: भुस्त्रिन, Romanized Sanskrit: bhustrina, literal meaning: Bustrina) and Jambira (Jambira, Devanagari: जम्बिर, Romanized Sanskrit: jambira, literal meaning: Jambira), and also what is it that arises from planting spreaders, the spreaders themselves are born? What is the seed of seeds? It is Sālu (Sālu, Devanagari: शालु, Romanized Sanskrit: śālu, literal meaning: Salu) and barley and wheat and monsran beans (monsran sde'u) and small monsran beans (mon sran gre'u) and mustard seeds, and also what is it that arises from planting the seeds themselves, the seeds themselves are born? Regarding what is called "the abode of sentient beings," sentient beings refer to ants, etc., and butterflies, etc., and bees, etc., and those who eat sesame and chaff, and snakes and scorpions, etc., and bees traima bu ka and traila ta ka. The abode of those is called trees. Regarding whether those are destroyed or caused to be destroyed, it refers to uprooting and oppressing and cutting down and piercing and sticking, whether one does it oneself or causes others to do it. What is called a cause of downfall refers to burning sentient beings in hell and as animals and as hungry ghosts and in bad realms and in bad migrations and in places of wrong views and downfall. Burning, cooking, is a cause of downfall. Furthermore, as long as that downfall has not been confessed and has not been confessed separately, it obscures virtuous dharmas, therefore it is called a cause of downfall. Regarding this, here the fundamental downfalls are separately established, namely, a monk knowingly, the collection of seeds and the abode of sentient beings, and seeds and sprouts not yet mature, not damaged, even a blade of grass, by whatever means, either himself intends to damage it, or others also cause it to be damaged. As many as the number of damaged seedlings and grains, etc., that many collections of seeds and the abode of sentient beings becoming the basis of the downfall of destruction. The agent here is, those who have not matured seeds and sprouts, mainly those who keep in mind not to damage. Regarding this, with five limbs it becomes a fundamental downfall, namely, seeds and sprouts not yet mature, and not damaged, and either oneself or others, and any means, and having been damaged. Among those, if the limbs are not complete, then accordingly.

Reproach. The downfall of destroying seeds and growth, this is the eleventh. The basis for the downfall of reproach is: The Buddha Bhagavan was staying in Rajagriha, in the Kalanda bird's place in the Light Garden. At that time, the venerable Gadabunora, when the Sangha was assigning residences and appointing food, The monastic friend and the two earth-born ones, with the venerable Gadabunora, connected from lifetime to lifetime, The monastic friend and the two earth-born ones, when together with the venerable Nyeda they were spending time in idle talk, The venerable Gadabunora came to that side, And the two of them said to Nyeda: Venerable Nyeda, if the Sangha also assigns you a residence, and appoints you food, Then we would be like this, for example, the venerable Gadabunora, or like some others, we would feel unhappy. Nyeda said to the two of them: Venerable ones, you two, the Sangha being in harmony, knowing that a monk has been assigned a residence and appointed food, Do you directly reproach him and indirectly mock him? The two of them said: Are we not even allowed to be angry? Did we two mention anyone's name or clan? At that time, the monks reported to the Bhagavan, The Bhagavan instructed: Monks, you should include the monastic friend and the two earth-born ones, or anyone else like that, in the category of directly reproaching and indirectly mocking, by the mere act of reporting. The monks included the two of them in the category of directly reproaching and indirectly mocking by the mere act of reporting, But the two of them, to the venerable Gadabunora, directly reproached and indirectly mocked, A few monks questioned, "Why, monks, when the Sangha is in harmony, knowing that a monk has been assigned a residence and appointed food, Do you directly reproach him and indirectly mock him?" They rebuke, They scold, They speak harsh words. At that time, The monks reported to the Bhagavan. Then, the Bhagavan, as before, reproached or mocked.
