are the demons of place, action, nature, and interruption. Therefore, one does not universally act there. Among them, the demon of place is the demon of aggregates, like this, because one dies in them. The demon of action is the demon of afflictions, like this, because one is bound in them. The demon of nature is the very nature of the demon of the Lord of Death. The demon of interruption is the demon of the son of the gods, because it interrupts those who strive diligently to abandon the three kinds of demons. Individual ordinary beings do not rely on it, as it is said. Where there is no support for demons, as it is said, for those who have entered the stream, etc., if there is a universal union with remnants, because there is a small smoke, does the demon have an opportunity? There, my mind is manifestly delighted. By this, it shows the liberation from those faults. This is a summary of the meaning of the four-line verse. Those who are victorious guides, even if they perform small actions, those who go to various heavens, if they proceed, they will obtain the state of immortality. This is the verse. Why did the Blessed One speak this verse? In order to correctly show that even a small effort produces great merit. In another way, it seems that it was spoken in order to fully ripen the minds of beings who are poor, negligent, and very fond of stinginess. Those who are victorious guides, even if they perform small actions, this refers to those who, even with just faith, completely believe. This refers to this meaning. Because one is victorious over all afflictions, therefore one is victorious. Because one eliminates the afflictions and regrets of others

The statement, "It is the source of great merit," should this be understood according to the king's command? Or does it have a source? Answer: It has a source. From where? Because it possesses the qualities of complete cause, result, and benefit, therefore, understand that the Thus-Gone One is the source of great merit. From completeness to complete benefit, what needs to be stated is that the completeness of the cause has four aspects: familiarizing oneself with all accumulations of merit and wisdom, familiarizing oneself for a long time, familiarizing oneself constantly, and familiarizing oneself with reverence. The completeness of the result has four aspects: complete knowledge, complete abandonment, complete power, and complete form body. The completeness of benefit has four aspects: complete protection from the three lower realms, complete establishment in the good realms, complete establishment in the three vehicles, and complete establishment in definitive liberation from the suffering of samsara. Complete knowledge also has four aspects: knowing without being taught, knowing everything, knowing all aspects, and knowing without obstruction. Complete abandonment also has four aspects: abandoning all afflictions, abandoning them permanently, abandoning afflictions together with their predispositions, and abandoning the obscurations of all samadhis and meditative absorptions. Complete power also has four aspects: manifesting in the realm of Brahma, transforming, having complete mastery over blessings, relinquishing life, having complete mastery over blessings, obscuring the realm of space, swiftly proceeding to extremely distant places, having complete mastery over entering the small into the large, and various wondrous and amazing innate qualities. The complete form body also has four aspects: complete marks, complete signs, complete strength, and the complete solidity of the relics of the body, like a vajra. Thus, the Thus-Gone One is knowing.

, is the source of the immeasurable great jewel of the extraordinary qualities of power and benefit, which is a brief summary of the great essence of the Bhagavan. If distinguished, there are many views, but these are sufficient. This is a summary of the fifth meaning from the summary of the meaning of the verses. Those who dwell in this monastery, Who are peaceful and practice celibacy, And who eat one meal, By what is their complexion brightened? They are not attached to the past, Nor do they rejoice in the future, Having obtained what arises in the present, They are mindful and aware. Those who eat after examining separately, Their complexion is brightened. These are two verses. One verse is a question, and the second verse is an answer. The beginning of the question verse is: Those who dwell in this monastery. If one says "peaceful," it is established even if it is not said, because those who dwell in such a peaceful place, their body, speech, and mind are certainly peaceful. After saying "peaceful," one should not say "practice celibacy," because how is peacefulness not practicing celibacy? This phrase, "those who eat one meal," should also not be said. If one possesses these qualities, if one is moderate in food, how can one accept greed? And why is this phrase, "by what is their complexion brightened?"? It should be known that this verse is established as an antidote to the four kinds of happiness arising from the proximate afflictions. The four kinds of happiness arising from the proximate afflictions that cause a bright complexion are the happiness arising from associating with bad people, the happiness arising from laughter, the happiness arising from abstaining from sexual activity, and the happiness of eating food at any desired time. "Those who dwell in this monastery" is the antidote to the happiness arising from associating with bad people. "Peaceful" is the antidote to the happiness arising from laughter, because even if one lives in a monastery, one may still be unable to be peaceful due to remembering past laughter and playfulness. "Practicing celibacy" is the antidote to the happiness arising from engaging in sexual activity.
