Ordination is a completely correct ordination, not one without full ordination, nor one who has taken the signs themselves. The term "by faith" means complete intention, not because of fear of debt, not because of fear of terror, not because of the king's command, but what is it? It is because of faith. The term "ordaining from home to homelessness" means complete place, home is the place of the householder. From that wretched place, this place is complete, homelessness means under a tree and so on. The cause of entering the holy Dharma by faith has been shown. After that, how does wisdom show the cause of not being robbed? Like this, a wise person cultivates by remembering the Dharma determined by truth itself, because it does not depend on others. Attainment means truly attaining. This is another way, completely showing how to make the mind that has not attained samadhi attain samadhi, and how to liberate the mind that has attained samadhi. By faith, one brings to mind the object of supreme joy, thereby causing the mind that has not attained samadhi to attain samadhi, and by seeing the truth as it is with wisdom, one liberates it. As it is said, from extreme joy, joy arises, and with joy in the mind, the body becomes light and at ease, and with the body light and at ease, one experiences happiness, and with happiness, the mind attains samadhi, and with the mind in samadhi, one truly knows as it is. Another way is to understand the meaning by employing the five faculties. If one has faith, one initiates diligence, and with diligence initiated, mindfulness is present, and with mindfulness present, the mind attains samadhi, and with the mind in samadhi, one truly knows as it is. By grasping the beginning and the end together, all that is in between will also be grasped. Furthermore, two kinds of people speak unpleasant words to the Tathagata, faith is the proximate cause. Lack of faith is a distinction of hatred, it should be understood that this is for the sake of counteracting. Faith is the proximate cause, its antidote is wisdom. Lack of faith is a distinction of hatred, its antidote is faith.

Furthermore, this meaning should be understood in terms of those who follow faith and those who follow the Dharma. Moreover, it has been taught that heaven and the path to liberation are attained through faith and wisdom. Faith and wisdom are wealth and excellence, because faith as wealth is the supreme wealth, and wisdom is the jewel of humans. Thus it is said. Inner excellence and other jewels and pearls, etc., should be understood as inferior through many different ways. External wealth mostly leads to misuse, is not satisfying, is accompanied by fear and harm, is shared with the gods, is not permanent, and is exhausted by use, but the inner is not. This is the summary of the eighth meaning from the summary of the meaning of the verses. Abiding in Dharma, complete with morality, Knowing shame and speaking truthfully, Becoming a self-maker, People rejoice in that one. This is a verse. Here, someone argues thus: Having said "abiding in Dharma," it should not be said "complete with morality," because how can one who abides in Dharma not be complete? Having said "complete with morality," it should not be said "knowing shame," because how can one who is complete with morality not know shame? The Blessed One has also said that two dharmas protect the world, namely, knowing shame and having embarrassment. It should also not be said "speaking truthfully," because this is covered by the true morality. Here, a distinction is made: It should be understood that in this verse, the four aspects are distinguished by fully taking up, not degenerating, abandoning the cause of arising afflictions, and speaking truthfully as it is. "Abiding in Dharma" means fully taking up; if one fully takes up morality, it is called abiding in Dharma. Abiding in Dharma is abiding in Dharma, which is synonymous with "abiding for the sake of Dharma." This is the seventh reason, for example, killing the musk deer for its skin, killing the elephant for its tusks, killing the yak for its wool, killing the potter for a woman, like that.

That which is called "perfect morality" is that which is not damaged. If the morality that has been correctly taken is not damaged, then it is perfect morality; otherwise, it is damaged. That which is called "knowing shame" is abandoning the cause of the arising of afflictions. The cause of the arising of afflictions is improper attention. If one possesses knowing shame, one will abandon the cause of the arising of afflictions. Because one observes one's own and others' minds, one will not engage in shameful conduct everywhere. That which is called "speaking the truth" is speaking as it is. If, through the fault of carelessness, and the faults of walking and so on, one acts like Brahma, and with those one exhorts the places of learning, if one speaks truthfully as it is, then one is speaking the truth; otherwise, one is speaking falsely. That which is called "becoming oneself" is that with those qualities one makes beings happy, because one speaks of the true qualities as they are. Alternatively, the word "oneself" can be combined with the remaining words, as it is said extensively: "The great king, whatever good conduct of body and good conduct of speech, the joy of those good conducts is oneself." This is the summary of the ninth meaning from the summary of the meaning of the verses. "By hearing, one knows the distinctions of the Dharma; by hearing, one turns away from sin; by hearing, one abandons what is meaningless; by hearing, one obtains Nirvana." This is the verse. Why did the Bhagavan speak this? In order to generate the correct view, and relying on the three trainings, to completely transcend from sin, desire, and rebirth. Among them, "by hearing, one knows the distinctions of the Dharma" means, as it is said: "Here, some, having heard the Dharma and Vinaya taught by the Tathagata, know that whatever Dharma shows correct morality, Samadhi, and wisdom, that is the only one, and what is said by other heretics, such as jumping into fire and water, not eating food, severe asceticism, and harming, are not the teacher." Like this appears. "By hearing, one turns away from sin" means, like this
