There is no time to abide. In order to explain that, "Whoever all" etc. are mentioned. The Blessed One was staying in the hermitage of the herdsman, and at that time, the venerable Kaundinya, who possessed great fame, passed away completely at the root of a tree on the path of the oxen, with his head resting on an elephant's dung. Two cowherds, named Guleka and Kitavanika, entered the pasture carrying pots full of milk. When they saw him, they thought, "This noble one has come to our land again and again for alms, so we should make offerings to his body." So they put the two pots aside, gathered wood, placed the begging bowl and robes elsewhere, and placed his body on the wood and set it on fire. After a while, four birds of golden color came and circled in the sky before leaving, and so on, in great detail. Then the cowherdess took his begging bowl and robes and gave them to another monk. The monk said, "Did you two see any wonders from the state of the venerable one's body?" And the two of them told what had happened. The monk said, "Those four were young demons, seeking the consciousness of the venerable Kaundinya." From this event and this story, the Blessed One spoke twelve verses. "Whoever all" refers to great beings. "Everywhere etc. without" refers to connections etc., connections etc. refer to everywhere etc., the absence of connection refers to abandoning the accumulation of karma that is experienced from birth and will be experienced many times. "Whoever knows food completely" refers to both completely knowing and abandoning completely knowing. "Food" refers to the four kinds of food, meaning to be free from desire from the three realms. Having shown the means of abandoning karma and afflictions in accordance, in "emptiness," whoever all, here following that, whoever all are exceedingly delighted in the realm of emptiness samadhi, and without signs and without wishes, are exceedingly delighted in these three and abiding in this is contemplation.

The phrase "gyis gzhan gyis ni ma yin no zhes bya ba ni nyid kyi sgra'o" means "the sound of itself." These three together are the supreme path, not just one alone, so this is explained. "Nam mkha' la ni bya rjes bzhin / de dag 'gro ba rtogs dka' ste /" means that which is difficult to observe and understand is that. "'Dis 'gro ba yin pas rjes te 'gro ba dang 'thob ba'i rgyu zhes bya ba'i don to" means that because this is going, it is a footprint, which is the cause of going and obtaining. "Dper na nam mkha' la bya bzhi po de dag gam gzhan dag kyang rung ste spyir ro / Rjes ni rkang pa'i bkod pa ste de'i mtshan ma rtogs par dka' ba de bzhin du dgra bcom pa'i skye ba'i gnas kyang de lta bu'o" For example, the four birds in the sky, or other birds as well, generally speaking, a footprint is the mark of a foot, its characteristics are difficult to discern, just like the birthplace of an Arhat. "'Gro'o zhes bya ba ni 'gro ba lnga ste 'gro zhing rgyu ba'i rnam par smin pa med de rgyu med pa'i phyir 'bras bu med par ston to" means the five destinies, there is no fruition of going and wandering, because there is no cause, so it shows that there is no result. Why are their footprints and going difficult to understand? Similarly, their going is also absent, because the venerable Kaundinya enters the place of alms, thereby generating the path. Therefore, here "kha zas yongs shes zhes bya ba gang dag dran pa nye bar gzhag pas zag pa zad pa'i sgo nas lam skyed pa yin te /" means that through mindfulness, the path arises from the perspective of the exhaustion of defilements. Therefore, relying on it, it says "gang dag spyod yul yongs shes pa /", which is cultivating the four mindfulnesses. The sutra says that the four mindfulnesses are the practice of the Dharma. "Ting nge 'dzin zhes bya ba ni re zhig 'dir tshigs su bcad pa bzhi po tha dad pa ma yin no / Ting nge 'dzin gyis ni smon pa med pa nyid bstan to / Yang na snga ma gnyis kyis ni ye shes bstan te /" means that, for the time being, these four verses are not different here. Samadhi shows the absence of aspiration. Or, the first two verses show wisdom, "'dis ni bsam gtan med par shes rab med la shes rab med par bsam gtan med do zhes bya ba'i don to /" means that without meditation there is no wisdom, and without wisdom there is no meditation. "Zag pa ni zhes bya ba ni zag pa rnam pa gsum ste / gang 'phags pa kaundinya la sogs pas yongs su shes shing shes pas spang bar bya ba spangs shing spang ba yongs su shes pa'o" means that defilements are of three types, which the noble Kaundinya and others fully know, and because of knowing, what should be abandoned has been abandoned, and they fully know that it has been abandoned. "Gang dag pha mthar rten med cing /" means not dwelling in future births, because the desire for joy has been abandoned. "Mi gnas pa zhes bya ba ni gang sred pas chags pa med pa ste / de la gnas par bya'o zhes bya ba ni grub pa'i mtha'o /" means there is no attachment to craving, and abiding in this is the ultimate. "'O na ci'i phyir / bcom ldan 'das kyis de ltar bsgre ba bstan pa mdzad ce na / bshad pa", then why did the Bhagavan show this comparison? It said
