Here, an example called "Disguise" is mentioned, which means imitation and falsehood, just like this, merely maintaining the appearance of a holy person. Although appearing like a holy person, in reality, it is not, but rather an evil person. So, how does one disguise oneself like the holy ones? For example, "the extremely malicious inside," and so on. What is it like? As it says, "unsuitable for brass," it means decorating the outside of metals like copper with gold water and gold leaf, etc. Decorated from the outside, smoked with the smoke of brass, it is called like brass. Or, making the nature of metals like copper, and using special smoke to make it appear golden, this is to deceive others. The so-called "half-iron masha" means that the nature of iron and copper, etc., is half-iron. Half is iron, and half is masha, so it is half-iron masha. "Masha" here refers to "Vana," half made of metals like copper, and half made from the outside with metals like gold, thereby deceiving the world. Because it is covered with gold, it is called covered, connected inside with nails, etc., made of iron, and the outside made of gold, this is the meaning of "Pana." For example, just like this, using earrings and counterfeit Karshapanas to deceive others in the world. In order to reveal the faults of the malicious inside, it is said, "Whoever is gluttonous," and so on. In another place, there were a great many monks residing, who were sleepy, lazy, arrogant, and extremely enjoyed food and drink, etc. The Blessed One saw these with his divine eye, and from this, he spoke these words. "Sleep is reversed" means that whoever has too much sleep is sleep-reversed, meaning too much sleep. In order to explain that excessive consumption of food leads to problems such as sleep, it is said, "Gluttonous." It means excessive eating and enjoyment, which refers to eating a lot of food. Whoever excessively enjoys food and drink will be controlled by sleep. This explains the decline in behavior, the so-called "day and night," which refers to night and day. Turning over and over

The so-called "sleeper" refers to relationship, that is, complete change and transfer. In one mode of conduct, other modes are adopted uncertainly. Or, complete ignorance and complete reincarnation, which is whatever the state of sleep is. In order to show the inner faults, for the sake of the outer teachings, "like a great pig" and so on are mentioned. For example, a great pig with a fat body can be considered to exist similarly to rolling around. Where pigs and so on freely exist, that means "direction." There, fatness, that is, the nature of excrement arising, swells in the dung pit. There, it approaches growth, and it manifestly delights in rolling and reversing there. Not elsewhere, just as it constantly rolls and reverses and sleeps in the dung pit. In order to show that if one is free from the fault of sleep, one can obtain distinction, "person" and so on are mentioned. King Light-clear was very fat and his body became sluggish due to calmness, so he went to where the Blessed One was and said: Venerable one, my body is very fat and heavy, and I am very afflicted and ashamed. Then, he spoke this verse. This was also repeatedly heard from inferior people. After hearing it, he wrote it on his own body, and the king prostrated to the Thus-gone One, prostrated, and extensively prostrated to the Thus-gone One. The so-called "person" refers to the fact that the person himself is the field of merit and faults, etc. Because a person is the field of karma. Not a god, because of heedlessness. Not beings such as hungry ghosts, because they are tormented by suffering. "Always" means constantly. "Possessing mindfulness" refers to the fact that the sound of mindfulness refers to experience, memory, and complete investigation of suchness, because that is the function of mindfulness. This is also mindfulness that follows the body, combined with "its becoming smaller" and so on. As it is said, if mindfulness guards the gate and one possesses the wall of wisdom, then one will abandon non-virtue and cultivate virtue. This shows the cause of abandoning inner suffering.
