Because that exists. The term "having color and form" means that even if one commits sins because of the extreme beauty of color and shape, one still possesses them. Having form refers to the form that is praised here. The term "great man" refers to being virtuous by nature, which is to say, virtuous. Why is that not considered a great man? Because those qualities also exist in those who are not great men. The term "having deceit, stinginess, and deception" means that deceit refers to having the nature of deceiving others. Stinginess refers to having attachment to wealth. Deception refers to having the characteristic of a fickle mind, showing a nature that is different from others. Having these three evil characteristics is a sign of evil. The term "whoever those are" means that whoever claims to be great, even if they do not possess beautiful color and form, but if they completely eradicate and sever these three natures of deceit, stinginess, and deception, just like cutting off the head of a palm tree. For example, if the top of a palm tree is cut off, the palm tree will wither from the roots. The term "because the fault has been abandoned" means that because deception, deceit, and stinginess have been completely abandoned. The term "intelligent" means that faults can be abandoned by relying on special wisdom. One should be called a "great man." This is to say that they are holy people. To show that beautiful things such as color and form should not be determined as signs of the holy, it is said, "In this world," and so on. At that time, seven naked people and seven people with hair knots, with fat bodies and entourages, were playing and living at the gates of the Victory Garden. King Light saw them and stood up from his seat, draped his upper garment over one shoulder, folded his palms, and listened to my name three times. When the Blessed One asked me why I was doing this, I (King Light) thought, "These are the Arhats in the world," so I said, "Great King, you should know. Do you clearly know whether they are Arhats or not?"

Unable to comprehend, nor understand what his mind is like. Only by associating with a great king can one understand etiquette, but this also takes a very long time to understand, otherwise it is not possible. This is also not because of being mindful or unmindful, nor is it because of improper wisdom. Steadfast in times of poverty, pure in conduct, and skilled in speech and related words. Therefore, two verses were spoken. "Color and form cannot be judged well," meaning that merely having good color and form does not mean that one can be said to be a noble person. As it is said, "From a peaceful appearance, it is not certain that terror will not arise. From the white tip of a candle, why would black smoke not emerge?" It is like what was said. To illustrate that even when together, one cannot understand and trust in a short time, it was said, "Without observing well." Do not trust because you see brief good behavior, why? Because it is said, "In this world, those who are not well disciplined mostly deceive with the appearance of being well disciplined." It means that the signs of those who completely turn away from sin and behave well are the characteristics of those who are undisciplined, behave badly, and are fearful and afraid because they have no livelihood, and mostly pretend in the human world to deceive others. For example, holding shields and spears, etc., can be used as examples here. To illustrate with an example that matches this meaning, it was said, "Copper Mask." "The inner being is extremely vicious" means that the inner thoughts are strongly aroused by afflictions and sins, but the outer body is like a saint, whose demeanor appears peaceful. Wandering means going from one village to another, from one family to another. Because of ignorance, this person craves small pleasures and puts himself under the control of others. To prove wandering, there is such a saying. Here, "alone with retinue" means being surrounded by a group of disciples, attendants, and retinue. So, how does he wander in the world?
