The so-called "eight limbs" refers to having eight branches, including various parts. The branches and parts are the same as those after the sixth branch. If asked, what kind of path is seen by wisdom? The answer is: it is "bliss," because "destruction" is a euphemism for samsara. The noble path is not the result of samsara, that is the meaning of this sentence. However, it is not the result of separation either. To show this, it is said: "tending towards nirvana," meaning tending towards nirvana, or obtaining nirvana. The so-called "that" refers to this. The nature of the previously mentioned promise is the conventional refuge, because the path is manifest, and it is the cause, and the ultimate truth arising from the faith arising from knowledge is constant. That is the main and most supreme refuge, because relying on it can eliminate all suffering. To show that whoever obtains the path, truly obtains it, and not others, therefore it is said "seeing by seeing" and so on, six verses. Monks, you should properly observe and practice, because by practicing proper observation everywhere, you can see it, this is the rest of the sentence. Relying on it, seeing is truly abiding, and it is divided into two types by the distinction of same and different. To show the same, it is said "seeing," because doing what should be done, is to look for the benefit of others, that person abiding on the learning path, can also see others, just as a person with eyes can see himself and others. To show the different, it is said "not seeing," because not doing what should be done, or not seeing the truth. Ordinary beings cannot see anything at all, and he does not look at all the worlds. If one obtains the state of near peace and no more learning, then one can fully understand taming the minds of others. After showing the difference of true seeing, to show the fault of not understanding, it is said "not seeing," because whoever has obscurations and no wisdom, so even himself cannot see, let alone others?

It makes it become existent. Since there is no similar seeing, it is also established that seeing the difference of dissimilarities is also established, in order to show this reason. The so-called "visible cannot be seen", for example, the eye cannot see itself, but can see others. Then, what is the seeing spoken of in the scriptures? It is that not seeing one's own suffering, etc., is seeing oneself, and so on for others as well. "Visible cannot be seen", because all individual beings cannot see suffering, etc., therefore they cannot see the suffering of others, etc., therefore it is said that "visible cannot be seen". How is that? It is explained: One should understand the explanation of this (treatise). Otherwise, the one who has entered the stream will not see the truth. Therefore, how can one see seeing the truth and not seeing the truth? Therefore, it will also contradict valid cognition. The Blessed One does not speak words that contradict valid cognition. Therefore, seeing the four truths is the seeing of the non-learner, this is the remainder of the sentence. There are two kinds of seeing, with obscuration and without obscuration. In order to thoroughly distinguish the differences in the nature of these two, it is indicated by the term "similar seeing". Seeing through connection when there is none is subsequent seeing, meaning the view that imputes to what is non-existent and diminishes what is existent. The word "subsequent" is a word of similarity. Seeing is appearing as seeing the similar, like an image. Vipassanā is seeing without obscuration and without affliction, because it is destroyed by affliction. The so-called "distinct object" is what is separately spaced, it is the nature of separation obtained or distinct, meaning that seeing what is similar to what is seen is what has become distinct. The so-called "here" refers to being present in this very scripture, and not in others, because it is the nature of extreme delusion. Here, the example given is "day and night", for example, day and night never exist together in one place at any time, because darkness and light are contradictory and cannot exist together. Similarly, the seeing of similar seeing
