The departed one spoke eight verses. The term "to look" means that you must examine it. The term "this body" refers to the nature of form. The term "always" means continuously. If asked what it is like, it is said that the term "splendid" means adorned with clothes and ornaments, because the color becomes special. The term "like a king's chariot" means that the king's chariot is very splendid, because the outside is completely decorated with gold and so on. The inside is the nature of wood. Like that example, this body is also very beautiful on the outside, and the inside is the nature of impurity. The term "where children are attached" means not fully understanding, that is, to which body particularly generates attachment, because they only look at the outside. The term "the wise do not cling to it" means that it generates detachment from this, because they see the truth inside. Showing the cause of attachment and detachment after children and the wise, is the term "where children are" etc., very ignorant is because they are overwhelmed by being very ignorant, because they are born from delusion or the four inversions. Therefore, the meaning here is that ignorance will make one attached, while wisdom will make one without attachment. Attachment is the fault caused by ignorance, so it is said, the term "fallen" is spoken, especially referring to not having fallen or being attached to objects, therefore falling for its sake, which means falling very pitifully. If asked what it is like, it is expressed by "like an old ox falling into a mud pit," just as an old and weak ox falls into a mud pit from which it cannot come out, it cannot escape by itself, and others cannot pull it out either. It shows that the attachment that follows is very bad, like a wound. The term "like a wound appearing" means that the wound is like a wound breaking open, because it will always deteriorate, and it is difficult to heal even with effort. Appearing means arising from causes and conditions, which shows that it is under the control of others, always

It shows the state of being the cause of close suffering. The word "sick person" is mentioned because they are always tormented by diseases such as hunger and thirst. As the saying goes, "Where will this body go? Suffering will go there." The so-called "law of destruction" refers to what cannot be restored after destruction, or the nature of deception. All the faults just pointed out arise from the body. For example, "Whatever is not stable" refers to the state of destruction or disappearance. The sutra says, "Whatever is impermanent is suffering." Because it is said to be outside the body, not inside. Therefore, it is said "sick person, law of destruction" and so on. The meaning of "decoration, please look" is that "please look" is said because it lives in the sun. Or, everything must be done by oneself, not by others. This is to show this state. Not drawn as a picture means not drawn as a picture, but beautified by creation and decoration. The body is an impure body. What is it decorated with? "Jewel earrings, bracelets" are mentioned. It is the decoration of jewels and ears. In order to include clothes, garlands, nail polish, etc., the word "also" is used. In order to include unpolished and polished decorations, it is said twice. What kind of body is it? The answer is: "It is a sick person." In order to show that it is beautiful to decorate with one's own limbs, it is said "decorated with braids." Like peacock feathers, it is made into the appearance of eight eyes. Therefore, decorate with suitable decorations. The hair is divided into eight parts, braided, and fixed with water ripples. Applying eye medicine is to beautify the eyes. If the color of the eye medicine is changed with a powder similar to the color of cyan bark, it will become the color of the eye medicine, and it will be beautified with paint. All of these, even children will be more confused, because they cannot think, but are produced by reversal. Do not seek the other shore.

It is said that those who seek Nirvana without remainder here because of the deeds that have been done, like this, being free from desire in the three realms, are able to reach the other shore of the ocean of all conditioned things. Especially those who are ignorant like this are not. This is its meaning. In order to show that these two are used to beautify, it is said, "With eye medicine" and so on. For those who have eye medicine, that is, the body is a mass of pus-filled, foul-smelling substances, applying eye medicine to the eyes, this is its meaning. "Newly painted" means painted by making it bright, which is a synonym for doing painting work. "New" means made at that time, for example, a skilled painter completely polishes the wall and then newly paints pictures with various colors, which is very beautiful, just like the nature of the soil and stones inside. This body is beautified with eye medicine, with a gold necklace on the head, a pearl necklace on the neck, bracelets on the wrists, anklets on the feet, etc., although decorated on the outside, the inside is the nature of foul-smelling substances. Even if decorated, it is not a good deed. To illustrate this, it is said, "The body is fragrant" and so on. As it was at that time, applying camphor and sandalwood etc. to the body is the adornment of the body. Anointing with safflower refers to feet that are very pleasing and red in color, extracted from rouge and henna etc. Because of inverted wisdom, without thoroughly observing the body etc., one cannot cross the river. To illustrate this, it is said, "If desire" and so on. The Blessed One, after traveling in the country of Kosala, gradually arrived at the Grove of Light, and the Brahmins and householders residing in the Grove of Light reported thus: Venerable ones, we think and understand like this, even if we enjoy desires, there is no fault. Why is that? Because these people indulge in desires, satisfying body and mind, and after the body dies, they will be born in the heavens. After reporting thus, the Blessed One
