The term "exhaustion of outflows" indicates detachment from desire in the formless realm, because it abandons the afflictions of the three realms. This indicates the remaining aggregates with residue, and in order to indicate the aggregates without residue, the term "immovable state" is mentioned, the permanent entity is nirvana. The term "difficult to see" means being able to be seen with difficulty, because it transcends the senses and is to be realized by yogis. The term "high" is neither low nor high, because the root of virtue is constant. The term "unmade" means not accomplished by cause and condition. The term "supreme" means sought after by all noble beings, because it is the most excellent of all dharmas. The term "immortal" means not declining from that. The term "nectar" means not dying, that is, without destruction. The term "dustless" means being free from the defilement of ignorance and pride, as well as afflictions such as desire. The Sutra says, "Dust is not the dust of desire." The term "dust-free" means being free from the dust of objects that are in accordance with afflictions, that is, being free from the dust that produces it and so on. The term "cessation of feeling" and so on refers to nirvana itself. If that is the case, then stating one is sufficient, and there is no need for others. If asked in this way, the answer is that this is explained with reason to the debaters. Therefore, some people think that nirvana is the feeling of happiness, and they are attached to it, and happiness abides in attachment. Therefore, it is itself an outflow. Likewise, some people think that it is constant, not momentary, because it is realized by direct perception arising from the senses. This is because the senses are weak in the aspect of the object. As it is said: Because it is made and created by Brahma, arising and increasing, destroying and decaying, repeatedly approaching and becoming weary, Brahma shows the city of liberation, where the path is completely liberated by destruction. Therefore, liberation is not desiring samsara, because it is increased by the pleasure of desire, so it is also completely diminished from that, because everything is likely to be completely destroyed together with it.

O! The term "Arhat who has passed away with death" is like having nowhere to go. It is precisely because of this that there are particles here, because they are the object of affliction, and therefore, along with outflows, they are like form. Therefore, these words are spoken in order to refute that disputant. To show that one who is born from taming oneself is a person with qualities, it is said, "A person for a hundred years," and so on. "A hundred years" refers to a measure of a hundred seasons. "A person" refers to the continuum related to the cause of birth, meaning a sentient being in samsara. "Forest" refers to a solitary place, because there is no distraction. "Completely relying on fire" means performing fire offerings properly with burnt offerings and satisfying them. Therefore, Garhapati, Ahavani, and Dakshina, these three fires in order satisfy the dead relatives of Bhu, Bhubo, and Svas respectively. The latter two arise from the former, which is the tenet of offering. If these three fires are properly burned, one will go to the Brahma world. Thus it is said. "Meditating on oneself for a moment, what is the offering?" This refers to whoever, with qualities, is well-endowed with strength and has completely tamed their mindstream, serving the field of merit with alms and so on. Measuring close to two hours, or that time is a moment. Offering to that one is excellent. This means that whoever makes an offering once to one who meditates on oneself, that itself is the most excellent. Because it is an immeasurable desirable result. The self-enlightened Buddha who went from above by miraculous power and the offering of stupas and the noble Yizang are given as examples here. Whoever performs fire offerings for a hundred years is not, satisfying the fire with fire offerings, and pouring into it with burnt offerings and so on is without result, or what merit is there in relying on and using fire and water? For the Buddhas who have completely abandoned afflictions, here the mind is completely tamed.
