Raro. Obtaining a wise person as a protector. This is the teaching of the path of non-learning, because it benefits through the cause of abiding in bliss in the seen Dharma, and the one who benefits is the protector. Or it shows that very reality, because other than the Buddha, the Bhagavan, there is no one who shows the path of seeing and so on, and it is the nature of gentleness that accomplishes the wise, not others. Two monks named Dikshina are also mentioned here as examples. Approaching Nirvana. This means being close to that, not to samsara. One should contemplate abiding in the realm of Nirvana without remainder and entering into its nature, because one is devoted to it. The explanation of my collection, the twenty-third, is complete. Only the well-spoken words of the subdued nature are diligently explained, and offerings are made to those with virtues, and one is never satisfied with following the Three Jewels and other sacred Dharmas, just as one who is afflicted by thirst drinks good water, and it is taught that others are not, so after that, the collection of comparisons is taught. Or it is said that only those with a subdued nature can help with the well-spoken words, but those with confused minds cannot, and to show this, this is taught, that is, it is said that those who do not have meaning and so on. When a Brahmin was sitting in front of the Bhagavan, surrounded by a large crowd, he sat down in front of the Bhagavan, and in order to please the Bhagavan, he spoke many definitive Vedic words in front of the large crowd, so in accordance with that, he spoke these verses and so on. That Brahmin also desired the meaning of the words of worldly Dharma and was of bad conduct. Whoever. A hundred verses are better. This means whoever speaks the meaning of a hundred verses and speaks with various words. How is it? It is said that words without meaning. That is, the words or speech of things spoken by the saints and the clear explanation, or the sound that follows samsara, or samsara.

Sounds that are related and consistent with meaning. Or, it is empty of the meaning of self and others. Or, it does not possess necessity. Saying a hundred verses, and saying one verse, is the word "and" used to summarize the meaning. "Hearing one meaningful word is enough." This means that the only thing related to meaning is the word related to tranquility, which is the most excellent. Because, rather than saying a hundred meaningless words, it is better to say one meaningful word, not to say hundreds and thousands of verses. For example, in order to show the characteristics of meaning, it is said, "After hearing, one tends towards tranquility." This means that by saying certain words, one can abandon afflictions and attain tranquility. For example, hearing words like "pointing out the small path, dispelling dust, dispelling dirt," is like attaining the fruit of an Arhat. "What are words that lack meaning?" This means being associated with the meaning of completely revealing sin, or lacking reason. Or, being associated with realizing non-dharma. Or, being inconsistent with liberation. Brahmins say this: Animals are raised for the purpose of sacrifice, and killing them there can bring great merit. All these riches belong to the Brahmins, because they are weak, so sinful people will fully enjoy them. Women are like flowers and fruits, and should be enjoyed by everyone. There is no sin in lying when laughing. There is no sin in drinking alcohol during sacrifices. These are meaningless and non-dharma. With words related to the Dharma, condemning you sinful people with merit. Harmful to the fruits of the union of this world and the next, of the mundane and the transcendent, of the benefit of self and others, and of worldly learning, is the meaning of different doctrines. In order to show the moral corruption associated with meaninglessness and non-dharma, and the association with good meaning and Dharma, "Not dwelling equally in moral corruption," and so on.

It goes without saying. "Living for a hundred years" refers to some people who spend a hundred seasons in a similar way. "Improper conduct" refers to bad behavior. "Lack of focus" refers to a mind distracted by various things. "Even if you only live for a few days" means that controlling the life force for one day is the most excellent. Why? Because "having discipline" means having good behavior. "Concentration" means completely withdrawing the mind from all things. "Lack of diligence" means being enthusiastic about evil deeds, because one dwells in bad things. "Lazy people" refers to being lazy in good deeds. To explain that "having discipline is pure diligence," it is said "practice diligently." It refers to diligently doing good. "Steadfast" means unwavering, which shows complete liberation from evil deeds. It is explained that having diligence leads to obtaining discipline and samadhi. "Corrupted wisdom" refers to bad wisdom, because ignorance obscures wisdom. To explain that corrupted wisdom leads to a scattered mind, the word "why" is used. "Lack of focus" is expressed by the phrase "without meditation there is no wisdom." "Great wisdom" means that wisdom is a very clear mind. The meaning of praise here is the word "great." "Concentration" means entering samadhi. This shows the path of accumulation by dwelling in mindfulness, etc., thereby showing the path of seeing. Saying "birth and death" is to prove that being away from the future, that is, the nature of conditioned phenomena, is birth and death, so the word "why" is used. "The cessation of feeling" indicates detachment from desire from the two realms of form, therefore, if one is detached from desire from desire, one can abandon suffering and discomfort. If one is detached from desire from the realm of form, one can abandon happiness and comfort, because there are many subsequent instructions, so here it is generally said that the cessation of feeling.
