It is the meaning of. The so-called "that" refers to itself. The so-called "by sound" means by other words. The so-called "can be guided" means to take it upside down, which means to introduce it into a wrong path. The so-called "not becoming inner knowledge" is because there is no knowledge of hearing and thinking related to the scriptures. If it is said that "external" means only seeing the form body. Because the Complete One and others adorn the body of the Blessed One with the thirty-two marks of a great man and are beautiful with the eighty minor marks, although they are often seen, they do not generate trust in the inner qualities of the All-Knowing One and others. The so-called "seeing the external fruit" means seeing the form body, and seeing the fruit is not the meaning of seeing it as it is. In what way is it seen? That is, therefore, when seen with what eyes, will one believe that the body of the Blessed One is beautiful and is the All-Knowing One? That is like the trunk of the Kosata tree and the flowers of the Palasha tree, which are only beautiful in appearance. This is like having no merit, and like seeing two moons, it will lead to the wrong path. Whenever both of the aforementioned do not exist, because the scriptures have disappeared, and the supreme Sage has also completely passed into nirvana, then in order to show it in order, it is said that "completely obscured" and so on. Because there is complete obscuration in this, because one does not understand the external and the internal. Whenever both exist, because there is uncontaminated wisdom, and the Tathagatas are also alive, in order to show that point. If it is said that "the inner is consciousness," and so on. The so-called "stable" is because it has stable superior intention. Therefore, it cannot be shaken by others, just as Mount Sumeru cannot be shaken by breath. Why? Because this itself occupies a large proportion in wisdom, in order to show that point. The so-called "wisdom of liberation" means being able to realize the fruit of nirvana.

It is shown that not having faith due to the power of the path of the earth is the very nature of not being able to be overcome. Why is it that relying on the help of others can be overcome, while those who possess wisdom without outflows do not rely on others and are the very nature of not being able to be overcome? Therefore, in order to show that all pleasant and unpleasant things seen should be accomplished in the same way, and that all things heard are mistaken, it is said, "Having heard mostly with the ears," and so on. The heretics killed the beautiful woman, and after saying it five times, the heretics proclaimed this in the streets of Shravasti, causing all the people to be agitated. At that time, the Blessed One heard this and spoke these words. Hearing is the object. The so-called "mostly" refers to many things such as true and false words, pleasant and unpleasant things, and so on. The so-called "with the ears" refers to the ear faculty or its consciousness, because hearing depends on this. The so-called "having seen many things with the eyes" refers to seeing many forms, which are caused by objects of form such as lovely and unlovely things. One should not easily believe in all that is seen and heard with stability. It means that the wise should not easily believe and act upon things that are slightly seen and heard, because they are objects of delusion and deception, like mirages and echoes. In order to show that the fruit of hearing is to understand its meaning and to follow its meaning, it is said, "Knowing the essence of good speech and hearing," and so on. Nanda is the third basket, but because he is greedy and stingy, he behaves improperly in the houses of patrons and so on. Therefore, in order to subdue him, these two verses were spoken. Knowing is the meaning of understanding, which is the essence of good speech. Here, it should be known that the word "meaning" is shown from behind. Or, knowing is the essence of understanding the very meaning of that itself. For those who have not generated the wisdom of that suchness, they do not possess the essence, and good speech is not complete with fruition, which is the meaning of this. One does not understand the meaning of good speech and does not remember
