The meaning of 'pa'. The sole teacher of the three realms, because he has abandoned the four obstacles of desire, ignorance, hatred, and pride, he dwells having subdued all. The teaching in this order is, so-called 'exhaustion of outflows' etc., because by abandoning the binding of subsequent attachment, one is thoroughly liberated from various attachments. Since desire is said to be a net, what is the reason for abandoning it in this way? Therefore, it is said here that one possesses a mind liberated from ignorance. Because one who thoroughly examines dependent origination possesses a mind liberated from unknowing, existence arises only in one who possesses unknowing. It is shown that one is separated from it only by the absence of unknowing. The root of hatred is desire and ignorance. To show that hatred is destroyed by abandoning desire and ignorance, the word 'ཐ་བ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning)' is spoken, meaning to be free from anger. To show that arrogance itself is disparagement and therefore cannot exclude others, the words 'those without outflows' are spoken, meaning to abandon the defilements of arrogance and jealousy, etc. To show that one first works for one's own benefit and then for the benefit of others, the word 'all-seeing' is spoken, meaning that the Buddha sees all with the Buddha's eye. Why? Because it is for the benefit of the worlds, that is, to liberate from samsara and save from suffering, so words such as 'who declines and who prospers' are used. Who does he see? 'Those with bodies' means to tame sentient beings. Because only in this way can beneficial things arise. To show the method of accomplishing the benefit of others, it is said, 'Some are like mountains' etc. In order to proclaim the Dharma, the Great Brahma requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One bestowed these two verses. A mountain is a rock. A peak is a summit. ལ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is what must be grasped. If one sits on the peak of a mountain, one can see even what is far away, but otherwise one cannot. Because one dwells on the peak of a mountain, one sees everything without obstruction. 'Some sit there' means the eyes.

The person I possess dwells here. Like looking at beings. It is called how to look. Beings are the multitude of people. "Everywhere" means everywhere. Likewise, "born from the Dharma" means that which is like that example is like that. Like the peak of a great mountain, the nature of the collection of virtues, the tall mansion, rises like an immeasurable palace. Wise is the wise. In order to show that difference, it is said, "Looking around with eyes," that is, the eye of wisdom that walks everywhere. Thus, with the compassion of knowing reality and diligence, he accomplishes the benefit of others. In order to show compassion itself, it is said: "Those who are tormented by sorrow" means those who are oppressed by sorrow. The poor are the multitude of people. Oppressed by birth and old age, this is because these two are oppressed. Because of being oppressed by birth and its changes. Other than that, it is because it is included in it. That sorrow and so on are exhausted, that is, away from sorrow, looking around is all kinds of looking. Generating great compassion, the Blessed One taught Brahma the Great God in front of him on his knees like this. "The one who reveals" is called should reveal. The gate of immortality is the means to enter liberation. The meaning of showing the holy path and making it clear. It is said like this. Whoever wants to hear, that is, whoever is diligent and desires to hear. How to listen to such listening, the doubts accumulated from the beginningless time are two minds, not believing in the real object, that is, completely dispelling, that is, completely abandoning. The path of immortality is the reason for abandoning doubts. Thus, the collection of Tathagatas, the explanation of the twenty-first is complete. Great compassionate ones, after attaining the fruit of the Tathagata, rely on teaching the Dharma for the benefit of others. Therefore, wanting to guide the hearing of the true Dharma, in order to show the benefits of hearing, it is said, "Listen well" and so on. Or, the fruit of the Tathagata
