Then, by what qualities does one overcome all? It is the most excellent of all qualities, namely, omniscience. Therefore, in order to declare this very fact, it is said, "In this world, one is called all-knowing." Monks, in the three realms, I am the all-knowing one. With the words "all-knowing and all-seeing," in order to show all things as they are, without error, because one is all-knowing, one is all-wise. "Here" refers to myself. "World" refers to the three realms. Only one Tathagata appears, and in order to show that one is unique among all sentient beings, the word "one" is declared. How does one abide? In any other world, two Buddhas do not appear simultaneously. Therefore, it is explained by scripture and reasoning. Among them, the scriptural proof is: one Buddha appears in the world, but it is impossible and there is no occasion for two Tathagatas to appear in the same world. If one were to reconcile this in this world, then it would follow that any non-virgin woman could become a Buddha, and so on. If someone were to come to Shariputra and ask, "Is there any Shramana or Brahmin equal to the Blessed One?" starting from "that is, perfect and complete enlightenment," whenever he asks me, I will answer, "Yes." Similarly, if someone asks that in the future, it is not possible. Thus, having manifestly and completely awakened, in this world with gods, there is no teacher better than me, and there is no other who teaches the Dharma other than myself. Otherwise, if there were another Tathagata, why would one pay homage to me with such extreme reverence? The reasoning is: with unobstructed wisdom, even actions that have not occurred can be universally generated, and phenomena such as the decline of the teachings can appear. It is also said: In the world of samsara, whenever one becomes a Buddha oneself, because one possesses indivisible power, one is able to subdue those to be tamed. Thus it is said. In this Jambudvipa

What is the reason for the Buddha's appearance? It is in this very place, such as Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya), and the place of Nirvana. Furthermore, it is to go and pay homage to stupas and other places. Because this is the Buddha's pure land, the scriptures are also here. This shows the occurrence, appearance, and future appearance of Buddhahood. Following views leads to faith, because all ignorance has been abandoned. Although it is pure, it becomes impure when it comes into contact with impure things, which is shown from discrimination. Here it says: 'The dharmas are not stained by all.' It means that even though one dwells in this world, one is not defiled by worldly things such as gain, just like a lotus arising from mud. Why? Because 'abandoning all' means abandoning all that should be abandoned, therefore it is called abandoning all. This shows the perfection of abandonment. To show that the things to be abandoned have been abandoned, 'cessation of craving' is mentioned. Because one is separated from all attachments that pursue the three realms. To show that by abandoning it, one will abandon attachment to it. Therefore, 'completely liberated' is mentioned, because one has abandoned the obscurations such as afflictions and has attained the path of no more learning. 'Self-realization' means that one does not rely on the instructions of others, but with uncontaminated wisdom, one truly understands all true objects, as well as vast worldly objects. Because if one does not understand the true nature of objects, afflictions will not cease. If one has not directly realized even one dharma, then it goes without saying that one will be able to end suffering. The sutra says: '...' etc. 'Who has taught' means who has taught it? There is no other than this teacher and explainer, just as before. Because the sutra says 'for the dharmas that have not been heard before,' it shows that there is no other teacher. 'Who has taught' means who would say that others are teachers? Why? Because it is 'incomparable,' because no one is like me. The teacher is also special, or there is no equal, so it is
