Because there is nowhere to go. In order to show the fruits of those two. (Text:) Liberated by right knowledge. (End) This shows that anger has been completely abandoned. Entering in an extremely ultimate way, the Tathagata who has attained afflictions with uncontaminated wisdom and is liberated from the obscurations of knowledge, abides in the aggregates of true certainty, therefore, with right knowledge, he knows everything and abandons it with the noble path, so there is no anger. Therefore, because of that (right knowledge), hatred does not arise universally. This shows the perfection of abandonment, and in order to show the perfection of wisdom, it is said "to the wise." Because they know all the meanings of suchness, they are wise. For those who abide in the continuum of omniscience, this is taught because they themselves eliminate the opportunity for afflictive imprints such as anger. Or, the wise are those who are wise in this way on the path of learning through seeing and meditating on the four noble truths, so subtle growth is impossible. Why is there no such anger for those who have distinctions such as scolding? Explaining: Because of goodness. For good people, anger does not exist. For example, vultures and other birds of the charnel ground do not rely on the wish-fulfilling tree, but birds who desire, such as Kalavinka, truly rely on it. In order to clearly show this, it is said, "Without anger and without harm." From no anger and no harm, it is the root of virtue of no anger and compassion, which refers to these two. Noble beings always rely on. (End) This refers to the noble person who always abides, because the noble one himself is represented by it. Without it, nobility itself would not appear. Those who accomplish the benefit of themselves and others are the noble ones, and the cause of accomplishing the benefit of themselves and others is also patience and compassion, etc. Because patience does not harm oneself, and compassion does not harm others. This shows the display of qualities from two gateways, patience is (caused) by others.

English
Being able to endure harm is forbearance, and being without harm means not harming others. Some say that not having anger, etc., is indicated by two verses. If so, how should one condemn the wicked? It is mentioned that "the wicked are angry," meaning that beings who are skilled at doing evil are what is meant by the term "evil person." Saying "angry" also proves complete harm, meaning that if someone causes harm even to themselves, what need is there to mention harming others? Complete harm also exists in the continuum of evil people. What is that like? It is mentioned "like a mountain," for example, just as a huge rock or mountain rests on the ground. If one abandons anger, it is not surprising that it does not arise from that. It is amazing for those who have not abandoned anger, so it is mentioned "if someone" etc. Others say that this began with the incident of a monk in a place called Agratavaka who became angry but did not speak harsh words. Whoever, in this world. Appearing means, birth manifesting. Anger is hatred. Grasping means, preventing arising. The untamed, suppressed, wandering, is like an untamed foal and horse, etc. For example, Anapaseka, this trainer runs very fast, and how untamed and fast-paced horses, etc., are turned away from the wrong path as they wish, and how they are ridden, just like that, he is the top of the trainers, therefore, I said he is a trainer. This means that he is the top trainer here. The lassoer is an ordinary person. This means that ordinary people ride tame mounts, but that person does not have that ability. The lasso here refers to grasping the rope that can truly tame. That person simply grasps with a simple lasso, because some people just lead the horse with reins etc., and do not ride. That is the well-known ordinary trainer. Whoever, even if the mount becomes wild, can turn it back from the wrong path to the right path, that is the true driver.

He is called the most excellent. Likewise, whoever prevents anger from entering a place, that person is the supreme trainer among those who tame the mind. The explanation of the twentieth chapter on anger is complete. Because all the stains of anger, including habitual tendencies, have been eliminated, it is said that the Tathagata is the supreme trainer. Therefore, the chapter on the Tathagata is taught after this. Alternatively, because anger is restrained, the six perfections are accumulated, compassion is generated, and (afflictions) are uprooted from their very foundation, the state of a Tathagata is attained. Therefore, this chapter is established. To explain that very point, it is said, "In this world, known as all-knowing," and so on. After attaining perfect and complete enlightenment, the lord of the world, Brahma, respectfully requested the teaching of the Dharma. The supreme Thuba thought to himself: "To whom should I first teach this Dharma?" After contemplating this, he realized that the son of Delight, Lhagpa Chod, had passed away seven days earlier. The son skilled in crafts, Ring Phur, had also passed away. Therefore, he thought, "I will teach it to the five mendicants." Then, the Bhagavan went to Varanasi. Upon seeing the Bhagavan, Kundu Tsho Nyer Dro said: "Venerable Gautama, your senses are very subdued, your countenance is very pure, and your complexion is white. Venerable one, who is your teacher? In whose teachings did you ordain? Whose Dharma do you delight in?" After saying these things, he spoke up to "Victor, subduer of the Maras." He asked, "Victor, are you referring to Venerable Gautama?" He replied, "A victor is like me." He asked, "Venerable one, where are you going?" He replied, "I am going to Varanasi," and continued until "Transcending worldly desire." Because he completely subdues everything, he is the subduer of all, meaning he has transcended everything. The sutra says: "Among all sentient beings, whether they are footless, two-legged, or whatever, the Tathagata is the most supreme."
