Ra-gyis-shig-pa, meaning to cut off. With cutting off and fundamentally uprooting, it is removed from the continuum. To show that this action is completely abandoning the household, it is said that the term "bhikshu" means "beggar," which refers to placing the disciples of that time in a state of listening. Because he is able to abandon these. Then, what should be the name of the one who abandons afflictions? It is called "bhikshu," meaning to transcend those who have destroyed afflictions. When abandoning desire and so on, if there is no distraction to objects and so on, and there are no obstacles, then virtuous conduct will increase. To show that it is not otherwise, it is said, "One should abandon attachment in the mind of people," and so on. A king named Mahena-dra, being extremely attached to objects, came with his retinue of consorts to play in the garden on the banks of the Ganges in the spring. After staying for a short time, when they relaxed and slept deeply at night, the flowing water of the Ganges carried away the retinue of consorts. Therefore, in this situation, this verse was spoken. "Like a flower" means, for example, a skilled garland maker enters a garden of flowers and picks flowers excessively, or from all the flower trees, he is driven by his mind to look at them, etc. Just as he picks and approaches picking, "One should abandon attachment in the mind," which means the mind is excessively attached to various objects such as forms. The term "person" refers to sentient beings with desire, which should be combined with "the Lord of Death takes and goes." To show the metaphor here, it is said, "Like a sleeping village swept away by water." For example, just as a river with many streams sweeps away a village and settlements where people are relaxing and sleeping, similarly, being idle and wasting time, one is taken by the Lord of Death, who takes away their life and ultimately leads to death. The Lord of Death comes without distinction in all circumstances, which is expressed by this sentence. After obtaining complete contemplation in the mind, are people taken away by the Lord of Death, or not? When contemplating this question, it is said, "One should abandon attachment in the mind of people," and so on.

So! Others say that a woman died at a very praised early age, and she was dominated by it. "Unsatisfied" means that desire is not completely fulfilled. To show that the sound of "satisfaction" is the sixth association, it is said "with desires." With the desires of objects such as form, sentient beings whose thirst has not been quenched. The Lord of Death is the terminator. To dominate means to be dependent, meaning to bring to oneself. One dies without being satisfied even with a little enjoyment of what has been obtained. There is no need to mention expectation for the enjoyment of desires, because to show that striving for it cannot change it, it is said, "Enjoyment will not arise." Expectation for objects refers to being more attached to things that have not arisen and have not appeared as the means of desire. The matter has not come to an end, which means that the fruits expected in the heart have not been completely fulfilled. Because the Lord of Death enters irreversibly, in order to show that one should strive to escape from it, it is said, "Recognize this body as a pot." This body is like a pot, empty inside, like a wick without essence, and like a bubble, it cannot last long. After showing this, four verses are spoken. A pot is the form of an earthen vessel. Similarity refers to being similar to the body. The body is also recognized as being like it, which means understanding with worldly knowledge, because there is no such thing in the transcendental. For example, just as a container for substances such as water is a pot, so too is the body a container for thirty-six impure substances. Similarly, after realizing that all dharmas are like illusions. Illusion refers to the thirst of deer, etc. The nature of dharma refers to this body, because it exists for a very short time, it is temporary and deceptive. Or, the metaphor of a pot shows that it will eventually perish, and this is quickly perishing.
