English
It means having a mother. The form of previously abandoned, the remainder is with the word impurity of its object. "By it" means not cutting off existence. "In that itself" means in birth and births. How is it? Like a calf desiring milk beside its mother. This is to say, for example, a calf wanting to suck milk is a calf sucking milk, just like that, the mind is bound beside its mother. How should craving be abandoned? It is said with "hand autumn lotus" etc. In a certain garden, the Blessed One went together with the Sangha of Hearers. There, someone also entered that great lake and uprooted the lotuses from their roots. The Blessed One sat on a cushion of four-folded robes and spoke to the Earth Holder who was dwelling together with the Venerable Shariputra: "Earth Holder, craving is a net and attachment to objects." Thus he spoke. When was this said? "Having cut" means how one's own antidote is extracted and abandoned, the path of peace should arise. Connect with this. Having blocked with worldly antidotes, one uproots with the path. Joy is craving, "related to me" is the remainder of the words. "In me" means because it is impossible to abandon the craving abiding in the continuum of the place. The Mighty One is one who liberates me and then acts to liberate all others. Or "in me" means in my mind. How is it? Like an autumn lotus with a hand. This is to say, for example, just as someone pulls out a lotus that arises in the autumn season from a lotus grove, likewise, one should abandon desire and craving from the mind. The path itself is the antidote, therefore, in order to make it focus on cultivation, "the path of peace should arise." Thus it is said. Because with the two paths of seeing and cultivation, one can abandon all the afflictions of the three realms, therefore, one should cultivate the path of learning. This is the meaning of cultivating the path of learning. "Should arise" means to increase in the order of small, medium, and large. Why should the path arise? It is said to be for Nirvana, suffering.

It is for the sake of turning away from suffering, and for the sake of attaining liberation. If one asks, by whose taught path should one cultivate in order to pass beyond sorrow? It is said, "spoken by the Victorious One," which means spoken by the Buddha. The path taught by him is without error, therefore it should be meditated on single-mindedly, this is what he taught. I also abide in that path taught by the Bhagavan. To show that the object of undeluded teaching is practice and fruit, otherwise it is not entering, therefore it is said, "Like a flower, pleasing," and so on. Furthermore, the Bhagavan, while walking in a solitary place, saw the flowers of the Koshataki tree and the Donga tree, etc., which had very beautiful colors, but had a very unpleasant or foul smell. He also saw others that had both color and smell, such as the flowers of the silk-cotton tree, etc. Therefore, he spoke these two verses. "As" means "how." "A pleasing flower" refers to a flower that is captivating, beautiful, and delightful. To show what satisfies, it is said, "good color," which is to show that the color is perfect. To show the reason why it should not be taken from it, it is said, "without fragrance," which means without a good smell, but with a bad smell, that is, with a foul smell, which is the meaning of "foul smell." "Likewise, well-spoken words" means words that clarify things in the same way, do not make them without fruit, therefore, because there is no benefit, one should not act in accordance with them. For well-spoken words, one should take the person's practice as the essence. "Like a flower, pleasing," etc., the color attracts from afar, while the fragrance attracts from near. "Having heard such well-spoken words," etc., the rest is easy to understand. To show that non-harming is the practice of the meaning of well-spoken words, therefore it is said, "Like a bee to a flower," and so on. The perfectly complete Buddha, in order to dispel wrong faith, the Shravaka desires gain and respect.

It is indeed so. Therefore, this Pratimoksha was first taught. Others say that in the garden of Rajagriha, there was a miserly and very greedy merchant named Koshika, who even collected wealth from villages and towns. It is said that this is how it started. For example, like a bee, just as a honey-maker extracts the essence from lotus and other flowers, like flying with pollen. It is associated with this. If asked whether this would harm it, the answer is: it does not harm the color and smell. Here it is said that color and smell, that is, color and smell, neither of which is destroyed. Flying means walking in the sky. Carrying pollen means extracting the pollen of flowers, called Makaranda. In order to explain the meaning of establishing the metaphor, it says "similarly", that is, like that. The Sage walking in the village means that the renunciates walk in the village for alms. For example, a bee flies away after taking the essence of a flower, but does not destroy the color and smell, similarly, after generating faith etc. in various families, one should go for alms. This should not be destroyed in any way, that is, destruction and loss of faith. It should be said based on other foundations, the Sage is walking in villages etc. after abandoning harm to others, not by violence. Others think that for actions that are close to faults, they think that this is not a fault, so under their influence, they said "faults of others" etc. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, the golden Sage's Shravakas, followed the Dharma of non-noble beings, because they praised themselves and belittled others, determined the Dharma of others and refuted it, therefore, in order to counteract these, this Pratimoksha was first taught. Others say that this started from King Ajatashatru's brutal people liking to inflict punishments. "Not observing the faults of others" means that one should not observe the degenerate behavior and bad behavior of others, because observing the faults of others is the Dharma of non-noble beings. Others
