It is said. Discrimination is the discrimination that practices in the desire realm. Alternatively, subtle is not coarse, because it is the ground of meditative stabilization. Distraction is also called "reproach" because it can lead to distraction, because the mind is distracted. "The mind dwelling within" means dwelling together with the mind in the same way. "Those" refers to the discriminations of those grounds. "Not knowing" means ignorance. What kind of ignorance is it? It is said, "of the mind," relying on knowing reality as it is. This shows abiding by location, like saying, "All the villages have come." Discrimination is the discrimination that examines in various ways, which is a definitive term. Showing the fault of not fully understanding it, it says, "Runs again and again," referring to revolving many times in samsara. What is it? "Deluded mind" means that the mind is inverted, meaning an untamed mind. "That" refers to understanding any of this discrimination. How is it understood? It is said, "by the wise," relying on the suchness of the meaning of the scriptures, because they are skilled in the characteristics of self and other. "Diligence" means possessing perseverance. "Discernment" means completely obscuring and covering. "Mindful" means striving to cultivate the four mindfulnesses, therefore mindfulness and awareness are the main two. The sutra says that one should be covered with divine mindfulness and awareness. All means how many grounds there are. "Without exception" means including habitual tendencies. If all are discerned, is it not? No, it is said, "with wisdom." Showing that taming the mind also depends on nirvana, like this body is called a vase, and so on. A monk is proud of the characteristics, shape, and appearance of his own appearance, acts out of desire, and does not practice impurity contemplation, thinking, "Who can despise a body like this?" He lives near a potter's house and practices, focusing on that aspect, like this:

O monks, an unbaked clay pot is worthless, cannot be preserved for long, cannot withstand damage, and cannot withstand rain; this body is also like that. For example, one who lives in a city uses the king's possessions. Similarly, the mind also relies on the body; it is said to be like that in the world, and two verses were spoken. The body is like a vase, for example, a clay pot is subject to arising and ceasing, and ultimately will be destroyed, and is a container for water; similarly, this body is also a container for various impure things, because it is impermanent. This is the summary. "Understood" means ascertained by the wisdom of suchness. "Like a city" means like a city, because there are various kinds of different substances. "After erecting a pillar" means that the mind abides well relying on that very body, and that this is also understood. This city-like body is established by what is called a city with a fence of bones. Having thoroughly examined and distinguished the body and mind, engaging in battle with the demons means that one should abandon and disturb the demons of affliction. With what? With the sword of wisdom, which means that a noble hearer cuts off all bonds with the sword of wisdom, as stated in the sutra. "Having tamed, one should guard" means that after abandoning the demons of affliction, one should guard so that they do not arise again; what has not been tamed should be tamed, and what has been tamed should be guarded, so that it does not decline again later. "Without a dwelling place" means that there is no more entering, and there is no possibility of samsara, which means complete liberation from suffering. "This world" refers to all sentient beings; the world refers to the term "five aggregates of clinging." Therefore, sometimes one enters looking at one direction, and sometimes one looks at all the worlds. After showing attachment to form, he spoke of attachment to color. This body is like a bubble, he said. O monks, a person who is attached to color dwells on the bank of the Ganges, wanting to cross to the other side.

Starting from not interrupting, for example, Bhikshus, a bubble of water, although large, has no essence. Just as it is unbearable to touch, so is this body. From here to between two verses, it was said. A bubble is formed when branches of water mix and are formed by wind, arising from a definite word. This is its meaning. If someone asks, how is it considered to have no abode? The connection is spoken in two ways, namely, "Who attains enlightenment," and so on. When someone says, "Venerable Shariputra, what is Nirvana? How does one attain Nirvana?" Then he took it and went to where the Blessed One was and said this to him. "Who" refers to whose good intention, that is, the great being who possesses the seed of liberation. "Well cultivated in the mind" refers to well practicing impurity and so on. Therefore, from a future time, one follows here what is said, "The seven branches of enlightenment are well cultivated." If someone asks, who will well cultivate the seven branches of enlightenment? It is said: One who does not cling to samsara and desires liberation. Both of these are spoken: "Completely abandoning grasping," because one has abandoned the desire to completely cling to other lives. "Who does not delight in grasping," because one delights in Nirvana. Therefore, because one possesses the distinction of both intention and action, the distinction is shown. "Exhaustion of outflows" refers to abandoning all defilements, because one has cleared away faults and abandoned evil conduct, so it is Nirvana, that is, one who has severed the stream of karma and defilements. "In the world" refers to completely passing into Nirvana in this very life.
