It is not born. Where it is stable, there it is born. It is said that wherever it is stable in any lineage, there it is born, showing that it possesses precious qualities such as wisdom. His lineage obtains happiness. It is said that in this way, at all times and places, the wise can make the lineage prosper, grow day by day, and obtain happiness without fault. Stability not only adorns one's own lineage, but also shows that oneself also abides in happiness. Brahmins and others are mentioned. Gṛhapati (householder) Anāthapiṇḍada (giver of food to the unprotected) asked the Blessed One: By what means can one live in happiness? Therefore, the Blessed One spoke two verses. Named in all ways, that is, in all ways. Named living in happiness, that is, sleeping or dwelling without harm. It shows that happiness is obtained, not suffering and unhappiness. Named Brahmin, because he has abandoned external sins, in words, the karma of sins is outside, that is Brahmin. Because he has abandoned external desires, it means that he has abandoned all attachments. In order to show that abandoning attachments from the root is abandoning attachments, otherwise it is not. Nirvana is mentioned, meaning that the flames of desire and so on are extinguished. If you ask: By what sign can this be determined? It is mentioned "who is overcome by desire". Because he is not conquered by afflictions and the desire of objects. If a person who is liberated from desire can also live in happiness, then what need is there to mention a person who is liberated from desire from form and so on. In order to show this, it is mentioned "completely liberated, without outflows". In order, from form and formlessness, liberated from desire or abandoning afflictions. Or manifesting the path of seeing and the path of meditation, or in order to abandon afflictions and habitual tendencies. Because other afflictions have been abandoned, one cannot live in such happiness, in order to show desire and hatred. And "abandoning all craving" etc.

If one desires to agitate everything and is filled with a mind tormented by suffering, then one will not abide in ease. Similarly, being tormented by jealousy, resentment, and anger is also the same. Severing means abandoning. Completely eliminate disease from the heart. This refers to completely abandoning anger and other emotions that cause torment, which are like fire. There is also an explanation for this: Craving is extreme suffering; the absence of craving is supreme bliss. If one completely abandons attachment and understands the Dharma, then one will truly attain glory. Just as anger completely torments and harms the mind, the intense rays of the summer sun do not torment the earth in the same way because they pacify it. Secondly, becoming peaceful is like a strong wind not allowing crocodiles and other creatures to swim around in the wish-fulfilling ocean, but rather approaching tranquility. That itself is a dwelling of ease. Why? Because the mind attains peace. This demonstrates perfect wisdom. There is also a saying: Without wisdom, the mind cannot be peaceful; it is impossible for it to exist anywhere. If ignorance is not completely eliminated, then I will not be without agitation. This was said to dispel doubts about the wisdom of giving food to the helpless and the perfection of abandonment. What arises from the perfection of wisdom and abandonment is truly excellent. To show that one can attain excellence even if one becomes unattached to inferior bliss, it was said, "What is bliss?" and so on. The venerable Simha, who resided in Vārāṇasī, passed away. His disciple said to the monks: My preceptor passed away without receiving a bath; please make offerings to him. They said: He passed away with the remaining aggregates. He went to the Blessed One and reported this matter. The Blessed One said: Your preceptor is experiencing the vast bliss of the third dhyana realm and has been reborn there. From then on, these words were spoken. Small bliss is small happiness, meaning that a little happiness is the happiness of samsara. Completely abandoning it refers to who has completely abandoned it, or possessing the means of completely abandoning it; this is the remainder of the sentence.
