If exhaustion is desired as happiness. After asking thus, these were spoken. That which is called "Entering the Shore of Bliss" is the doubt of entering, which is to cross over from here and enter. The means of approaching the riverbank and the utmost praise, etc., are all equal. Wherever the river of entering the shore of bliss is, that is the cause of bliss. There, worldly people bathe, drink, enter, and wash clothes, etc., using them as they please. That which is called "Victorious by Dharma," here Dharma is the path that overcomes the world and transcends the world. The completely victorious one is the meaning of the great-minded being who abides in pure conduct. He also benefits beings like a wish-fulfilling tree, or benefits them with Dharma. The victorious one is the one who subdues, the meaning of the noble being who does not regard non-Dharma as one. That which is called "Obtaining Wisdom is Bliss" is obtained by knowing that unique realization. In order to realize that, the remainder of myself realizes it with a unique realization. In order to speak of the method of that realization, the sentence "When pride and ego are exhausted, there is bliss" was spoken. Because attachment has been abandoned, pride and ego have been destroyed, because the mind has become completely pure. Thus, in order to show that external complete purity is to benefit by seeing, etc., and not others, (the sutra says) "What do the noble ones delight in? Knowing that being with them is bliss. What is it that not seeing is bliss? Know that he speaks to me." Thus, after Indra asked, two verses were spoken. The noble one is the one who is free from both stains. Why? It is called "Noble Ones, We," that is, the noble one is the one whose wisdom does not regress from reversal, because of "widely practicing on existing things." That which is called "accompanying" is to dwell together. Thus, if seeing what is not happiness? If you do not see the children. (It is said) For the faults of the body, etc., the extremely foolish or childlike appearance of practicing. It always becomes the nature of happiness. (It is said) By the power of seeing the noble ones, etc., and the power of not seeing the children, it is greed.

It is to exhaust suffering and obtain happiness. Or "constant" means "continuous," which means "related again and again." "If the children are not seen," and "constantly turning to happiness," from where does it come? Because it is said "associating with children," it refers to this way of associating and acting with children, which means associating and staying with foolish people. "For a long time" means the time is very long. "Will regret later" means to eliminate inner and outer suffering. From where does it come? Because it is said "associating with children," it is causing suffering, just like entering the fire, how can one not be burned? If one associates with people of bad behavior, how can one not regret it? Here, a Dharma-conforming metaphor is used, saying "like an enemy," just like an unfriendly person. "In all aspects" means all aspects including inner and outer, because countless enemies surround you day and night, so you always experience fear. Then, how happy is it to associate with the noble ones? "The steadfast ones" means that because they have steadfastness, they are called noble ones, and the word "and" here means the reason. The happiness brought by association is related to satisfaction, for example, associating and staying with beloved relatives, such as parents and children, just like making people happy, it is the same with the holy ones. If so, why don't worldly people always associate with the holy ones? It is indicated by "wise men" and so on, the noble Shariputra led many relatives from the city of Nalanda to the path of the noble ones, and after hearing this, he said these words. Because it is difficult to obtain, it is rare, that is, difficult to find. "Wise men" refers to virtuous people. Why is it rare? Because it is said "they do not appear universally," because they, like intelligent horses and elephants, and wish-fulfilling jewels, do not appear universally.
