The meaning of "bstan to" is the summarized meaning here. Thus, "nyes dmigs" means these harms. "Shes gyis te" means to know it as it is. If asked, "What is the self-nature of 'nyes dmigs'?" The answer is, it is said, "sred las," which means arising from the co-emergent of craving. Why does it harm oneself? Because it is solely the cause of affliction. To clarify that others are related to affliction, it is said, "sdug bsngal 'byung ba," which means it is the cause of the arising of suffering, because suffering arises from that, and those who are separated from craving do not experience suffering. It arises from this, hence "'byung ba," meaning cause. Alternatively, "de ltar" refers to the verse previously stated that reveals the faults, which is, "Craving causes sentient beings to be led to the place of slaughter in this world." What does this mean? How are they led to the place of slaughter? It means engaging in the actions of the lower realms, thereby taking birth in the lower realms, therefore, one should recognize this as a great fault. Through "sred las sdug bsngal 'byung ba," the second fault is revealed, because it is the main factor of the cause of samsara. "Sred spongs" refers to the existence of detachment and abandonment, which is the abandonment of craving, because all the habitual tendencies of craving are abandoned. To show that abandoning it means abandoning the basis of all the bonds of samsara, it is said, "nye bar len med," which means abandoning taking, this is the absence of taking, because the cause of taking, which is existence, is abandoned, therefore, he has no taking whatsoever in the world, which is desire-taking, view-taking, ethical conduct and discipline-taking, and self-assertion-taking. "Dran ldan" means that the mind abides correctly in the four mindfulnesses. "Dge slong" means that all attachments are abandoned, and he is content with whatever is obtained from others, etc. This shows that he possesses the characteristics of physical and mental solitude, contentment, etc. Or, in order to destroy afflictions, from the nirvana with remainder,

It has been shown. This, called "complete flow," is the nirvana without remainder, because it will be mentioned below. Therefore, these two methods are able to understand the method of abandoning craving and not closely grasping. The one called "universal flow" is complete nirvana. Here, the word "universal" means "complete," because it is a complete flow, so it does not grasp any one birth, therefore it is not the peak of craving, and that is also the meaning. Or, abandoning craving means going everywhere to benefit sentient beings. As it is said: "Monks, I am liberated from all bonds, so I wander between gods and humans, traveling in various places, widely proclaiming for the benefit of many beings." In order to show that the faults of craving are not truly known, and that the benefits of abandoning craving are not known, these things are said. The explanation of the chapter on craving is completed for the third time. After that, in order to show the antidote that can abandon craving, the chapter on "I exist" is arranged, therefore it is explained: "The negligent man, acting excessively, craving increases like a vine." Because negligence is the cause of increase, although it is not said here, it is established in this way. If it is said that negligence is the cessation and elimination of craving, therefore this chapter itself should be explained, therefore it is said, "Non-negligence is the place of immortality," and so on. The origin of this story is that the minister of Kauśāmbī named Nagaṇḍika burned five hundred innocent, unparalleled blue lotus-colored women. Therefore, the manifestor of the lotus king also killed five hundred ministers. From this, the Blessed One spoke these two verses. Among them, the first verse shows the truth of the path and the truth of cessation. The second verse shows the truth of origin and the truth of suffering. The third verse is about who has attained cessation. The fourth verse is about who has not attained it, which is the summarized meaning. The non-negligent one,
