Na. It is said that "people" refers to individual beings, because they enjoy birth, hence they are born. If someone asks, what are the faults of having these? It is said, "Whoever is constant" and so on is mentioned. Whether it is remembering the happiness of the past, or being particularly attached to what is happening now, and also the person who is not satisfied with the cause of future happiness, that person will continuously experience birth and death and so on. Some say, what are these close to? It is said, "Whoever is sata-sita." "Sata" is experiencing happiness. "Sita" is attachment to it, so "sata-sita" is shown from the root of the word "shimpanadana." What happiness is attached to? It is said, "Thus, the one who desires happiness." Whoever has the aspect of desiring happiness, that is the one who desires happiness. Whoever is particularly attached to the desire to experience happiness, that person will also strive to experience happiness, and will remember it, that is its meaning. To show that doing so will lead to faults, it is said, "That itself" is because of that. "Birth and old age will approach," meaning approaching and entering birth and old age, approaching birth and old age means experiencing birth and old age for a long time. This shows the suffering of accomplishing oneself and transforming oneself. In order to exhort those who are threatened by the objects of affliction aimed at the three times, and the suffering of aging and death as its result, to abandon the cause of desire, these were said. Some explain the topic and words inconsistently. In Rajagriha (the capital of the ancient Magadha kingdom of India, near Patna, Bihar today), it was said starting from the pig of the later hole, namely generating and clinging, and contemplating pleasantness. Among them, generating refers to the generation of desire, contemplation refers to pleasantness, and the meaning of captivating, speaking with gentle and euphemistic words, and so on, is the behavior of speech. "Mental pleasure" refers to

Inferring from the manifested desires of body and speech, and from the desires and intellect in the mind. The three instances of "and" are for the purpose of جمع. Sin is seeing and aiming. If asked what it is, it is said: The word "people" is mentioned, that is, men and women, because they both manifest affection for each other. If one contemplates this, what will happen? It is said: It is called "always wanting happiness," that is, when a woman is attached to a man, it is the woman herself who observes with manifested desire, because she desires the distinction of happiness due to her attachment to him, and therefore she strives for future benefit and becomes attached. Similarly, one should also speak of a man's attachment to a woman, and so on. Because it is a permanent thing, it is permanent; it should be combined with the phrase "approaching birth and aging." That is, it remains for a long time in samsara; the remainder is as before. Although the two words are not contradictory, in speaking of subtle categories, it is as before. These were spoken in order to avert desire from suffering with defilements. If the wise carefully examine, then craving itself generates suffering, and in order to show that it is explained in another way, it is said: Beings are driven by cravings. Sharpened. "And so on" is said. In the city of Varanasi, when many monks were wandering in the cemetery, at that time many people who were stealing wore garlands of karavira on their heads. They were killed while making a loud noise like executioners. Not far from there, a net for catching rabbits was spread, where many rabbits were caught and were gnawing at each other, but they saw those who had not escaped. Again, compassion arose, and they spoke these words: These people are killed because they have committed evil deeds, but these wild animals live very hard lives, subsisting on only a small amount of grass and water, so how can they be killed without cause? The Blessed One heard of such a situation and spoke these words. Others are, in Rajagriha, the Blessed One was dwelling surrounded by a community of monks.
