Ra said, 'Sorrow arises from joys.' This is said because of being extremely attached, so it is joy. Attachment that arises together with afflictions is mental happiness. The rest should be spoken of as before. This shows that these two desires are not only the cause of sorrow and so on in life, but also the entrance to the collection of afflicted desires. For those who have not abandoned the mind and mental factors, sorrow and so on will enter, and these are because they are in accordance with joy and extreme attachment. Obviously, one should look at things that are the same as others and as that, that is, in accordance with attachment. Regarding this, as it is said, the feeling of happiness abides on attachment, for example, what is happiness and the feeling of happiness, and so on. Desire is the cause of sorrow and so on, and for whose benefit it is closely enjoyed is also the meaning of closely enjoying joy. Because it is done by it, all these should be understood as the faults of desire. Whoever abandons desire with an object, also because he abandons the joy of distinction with the desire of universal distinction, so these were said. Here, these are not only the faults of sorrow and fear, but it also shows that all the nets of sin also arise from this, so it was said: 'The ripening of desire's joy is suffering.' and so on. The foolish person killed and eradicated all the rivals who were enemies of the noble ones, enjoyed the happiness of the kingdom, and killed countless Shakyas who saw the truth. After that, on the seventh day, when he went to play in the water with his concubines, ministers, and servants, he was surrounded by the burning fire of hell, and he was born in the great hell of Avici amid cries of agony. Because you control all this, these were said. Here, in short, experiencing the taste of desire is first indicated by sweetness. The rest is fault, and the heat of the fruit indicates the fault of this life, because it is the cause of sorrow. The ripening is suffering, which refers to the next life.
