There was a merchant's son named Namo Nasi, who was very wealthy with all kinds of riches, and he was also attached to desires. At that time, he wanted to fully enjoy desires as he pleased, so he prepared various implements and built three very pleasant houses for enjoyment in winter, spring, and summer. However, he met his death there without enjoying the fruits he desired in his heart. Therefore, these words were spoken for him. Upon hearing these words, sixty thousand beings realized the truth. Furthermore, these words were spoken for a great merchant named Much Wealth, who had many discriminations. To think unreasonably is to think that one should do these things in winter, spring, and summer. The one who thinks unreasonably is this person called a child. The reason for being unreasonable is that one has not seen the obstacles; this is the summarized meaning. These refer to houses and gardens, and so on. Summer refers to the summer season. To do means to begin, meaning one should experience the pleasure of desire that is appropriate for that season. Winter and spring, the word "and" in it, is to guide these words. The word "is" is to distinguish. To enjoy pleasure in an uncertain place, to judge with reason that this is correct, one should observe here. Who would think like this? The answer is, the child is mentioned, which refers to someone whose mind is not open, who does not understand things, that is, someone who does not understand merits and faults. The one who thinks separately refers to the one who engages in discrimination. The word "one" refers to the winter and so on, as mentioned before. The wise person, because he understands that this life has many obstacles, thinks like this: Some people can obtain this life well just by breathing in and out. Why don't children think that way? The answer is: Because they have not seen the obstacles. That is to say, for this life, there are
