To show that damage is inflicted on things in general in the same way, it is said: Mentioning the king's chariot and so on. As long as these three great kingly dharmas exist, the world is not satisfactory. These three exist in the world as follows: disease, old age, and death. If the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha appears in the world, it is not the same. The offering of the Dharma spoken by the Tathagata and so on is taught, without teaching there is no sorrow of wisdom and so on, it is said in the sutra. This verse is spoken in the authority of King Light. Others say that it refers to the power of the conceited queen Flower Garland, who came riding the king's chariot, and her retinue and so on. The summarized meaning of this is: Whatever is to be carried, the external and internal things are of the nature of aging, whatever is to be grasped, the Dharma that is the antidote to it, that is what is to be fully shown. Destruction is being transformed by old age. Also, it is the worldly person who will surely die, and here it will not change into other situations. What is that? It is said: The king's chariot, even if it is protected by the supreme sovereign, will be completely destroyed, what need is there to mention others? This is what is to be shown. Without equipment, without adornment, it will surely be destroyed, so it is said: very bright. Ani etc., elaborately decorated with jewels, leather, white mustard etc., meaning even if it is fully equipped. Because the carrying capacity of the chariot is very large, it also shows being close to it, symbolizing that all external things will approach. The so-called "likewise" is like that, just as the king's chariot, even if it is elaborately arranged, will be destroyed, so too the body, even if it is completely protected, will approach old age, meaning approaching transformation. This shows the change of internal things. If form and body will age, then what will not age? It is said:

It is called "The Dharma of the Noble Ones," which is the Dharmakaya of the Buddha and the Buddha's Shravakas. The word "also" means special. Having spoken of that specialty: "Does not age" means it is not a place of transformation. Everything is the basis of transformation, but not the Dharmakaya. If asked: How is it known that it does not age? Answer: It is said, "Noble Ones," etc., because the noble beings realize the non-inverted Dharma and teach it to others. If the Dharmakaya also ages like the body, then it will age and transform, because the power is exhausted, and because the power is weak, the noble ones will not be able to realize from the most excellent people, nor will they be able to realize. "This" refers to the Dharma. "Other most excellent people" refers to those who have become vessels and possess good fortune. "Realize" means to understand. Or, it is to give to one another, because it is clearly related to the teaching. In this way, the noble beings transmit the three pitakas, and in the manner of giving, the teaching abides in the noble beings themselves. Therefore, as long as the Blessed One abides in the world, so long will the Dharma also abide. In another way, even if it has not been spoken, the meaning of the three pitakas, which are the nature of wisdom, discipline, and samadhi, exists. In order to generate faith and joy in the Dharmakaya of the Buddha for those who are attached to form and body, these were spoken. Because aging enters into everything without distinction and makes the form ugly. Therefore, in order to denigrate it, it is said, "Aging, you are foolish and evil," and so on. The Blessed One was staying in a place called Kunjika, the "Place of the Old Man." After that, the Blessed One was sitting in the winter season with his back to the sun, holding an umbrella. The venerable Acharya was tormenting the Blessed One's body and asked, "Venerable One, the Blessed One's body was formerly magnificent, and it existed magnificently." After praying in this way, the Blessed One said, "Aging, you..."

It speaks of actions and so on. Here, it speaks of the act of scolding itself, what should be scolded, and the one who scolds. "You are bad" is said to be a word of scolding. "Old age" is said to indicate the object of scolding. "Foolish and you are an unworthy person" and so on, are said to be the cause of scolding, which is the summarized meaning. Bad is scolding. By what authority is it said to be bad and scolded? It is said that "you" refers to old age, meaning that old age, you will be scolded. What should be scolded is shown in the Tibetan way. Old age makes the body unpleasant, and why is it done as a way of scolding? "Foolish" is said to be foolish because it arises from foolishness, meaning that it cannot distinguish between old age and difference. It is also foolish because it does unworthy things. Why? Because this foolish person does unworthy things to everything in this way, meaning that it separates the body from pleasure. So how can it be known that it does unworthy things in everything? It is said, "Even this pleasing form" is said. Thus, the pleasing body of the Buddha, the Bhagavan, is adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks of a great person, having accumulated a great collection of merit and wisdom for three countless eons. In such a pleasing world, there is nothing more pleasing than that, which you have destroyed. "This also" is said to be like that. Because it makes the mind very happy, it is pleasing, it is the joy of the mind. Form is the body. "You" is said to be old age, which is destroyed in this way, it is suppressed. Thus, if even the body of the supreme Sage, who is superior to all sentient beings, has the law of old age, then what need is there to mention others? It is shown. These were said to abandon excessive attachment to the body. Here, it is not only tormented by old age, but also by death and so on. To show this, it is said, "If someone lives for a hundred years" and so on. In Shravasti, the merchant...
