It is fully shown, that is, it is explained through the aspects of destruction, separation, complete annihilation, the aspect of dwelling nearby, and the aspect of Dharma nature. Among them, the so-called "What is abandoned, namely these" indicates that impermanence is shown through destruction, because whatever living being has life, it will also be abandoned in this way due to the complete destruction of bones. "Scattered in all directions," this indicates that impermanence is shown through separation, because it exists in various directions, thereby accomplishing the nature of being separated from each other. The so-called "like the color of a dove" indicates that impermanence is shown through change, because it has changed from the previous pleasing color to other colors. The so-called "seeing this" shows the impermanence of dwelling nearby, and through these three aspects themselves is impermanence, it is called the moment of occurrence being near. Manifesting it is the aspect. The so-called "What is there to rejoice in this" is to show impermanence through the aspect of Dharma nature, because this body has also changed from the Dharma of living to a dying body, and the nature of impermanence dwells nearby and appears in three aspects. Here, the dying body is also the same as this, it is the same Dharma nature, what is there to rejoice in this, what is there to be happy about? This is the meaning of the summary. The so-called "What is the meaning of the limbs" is connected with the word "bones." The so-called "these" refers to the place dwelling nearby. The so-called "abandoned" means abandoned by being separated from the wind that holds it. The so-called "scattered in all directions" means that it is not arranged neatly and without perception, but rather in a state of searching, for example, the bones of the neck are different, the bones of the feet are also different, and so on, which is what is said in the sutra. From where, relying on where, is it abandoned, and from where is it scattered and dwelling? Answer: It is said "in all directions," this is a repetition, referring to the many forms of direction, that is, the meaning of being scattered in directions such as high and low. If asked what it is like? Answer: It is said "like the color of a dove," the so-called dove refers to the bones that appear in color like the bird called dove, the meaning of which is bluish-gray. Seeing such bones is the appearance.

What is there to be happy about and especially attached to in a body that has already aged? It is to a body that is endowed with deteriorated color and shape. The wise never give rise to manifest joy, because in the end it is unsatisfactory. Therefore, "abandoned" indicates that the bones are abandoned with the joints still connected. "Scattered" indicates that the joints are scattered due to separation. The deterioration of shape is proven in two ways, and the deterioration of color is indicated by "like the color of a crow." Therefore, this explains the antidote to the four types of attachment. Among them, the word "scattered" indicates the antidote to the attachment of intimacy, because there is no intimacy. The word "scattered" indicates the antidote to the attachment of shape, because there is no shape that conforms to attachment. "Like the color of a crow" indicates the antidote to the attachment of color, because this color is not desirable. The word "bone" indicates the antidote to the attachment of touch, because it is unbearable to touch. If we consider the second occurrence, the Tathagata also taught in this way: For example, those who have not separated from attachment should meditate on the body in this way many times: You are also like those who have not separated from attachment. This shows that we, who have not separated from attachment, have given rise to pride as if we have separated from attachment, therefore the Bhagavan encourages us in this way, thereby giving rise to true renunciation. The Bhagavan also correctly taught other paths, thereby attaining the state of complete separation from attachment from the three realms. Therefore, in order to generate renunciation from the body for those who have obvious attachment to the body, this verse was spoken. Conditioned phenomena are not only unsatisfactory in the end, but in order to clearly show that they are unsatisfactory from the beginning, it is said, "On which night," and so on. The origin of this event is that when the Bhagavan was in Shravasti, he said to the monks, "Everything is false."
