Having placed it, one thought, 'One should proclaim the bad name for this purpose.' After how long? After seven days, it became clear to everyone. King Bright King and the householders gathered together and came to the Blessed One, saying, 'Venerable One, the body born in Mathura has become unsightly in all directions.' Having heard this unpleasant speech, the Blessed One said, 'Great King, this is not a deed that has occurred now; this is a deed from the past.' Thus far, the Blessed One spoke. 'It only increases enemies.' This refers to many enemies. Due to the power of jealousy, being unable to bear it, sentient beings will be harmed. By clinging to self, this will become an enemy of harm, and one will see enemies. Therefore, to show that this will happen, it is mentioned, 'Shaving the head,' which means shaving the hair and beard. If one asks, 'Is the head also shaved for the sake of evil gods and so on?' The answer is, 'Wearing the ochre robe' is mentioned, which means wearing a Dharma robe dyed with colors. Wearing the Dharma robe itself indicates that one has renounced and abandoned all attachments. How is it? 'Food and' is mentioned, which indicates that the requisites of the body are three: food, clothing, and shelter. This clarifies the benefits of obtaining requisites and receiving respect. Thus, 'Having understood the faults,' refers to recognizing the previously mentioned faults. Through what? 'Respect' is mentioned, referring to the requisites actually obtained and respect. The difference of faults is stated: 'Great fear,' which refers to the great fear that those who lack discipline and so on have. Having understood it in this way, the accomplishment that has arisen and transformed is stated: 'Little known,' which is not known by many, because this is when the body is in a state of solitude. 'Having abandoned worries' means having little desire, because there is no attachment to worldly things, which indicates that there is no discrimination of them. To explain the fruit of solitude, 'Mindful' is mentioned, which means being well-established in the four mindfulnesses, this mindfulness is the path.

It is a gathering of the Sangha. A monk is one who has destroyed all defilements, so he shows the Nirvana with remainder. In order to show the Nirvana without remainder, the term "always wandering" is mentioned, which is Nirvana itself. If it is a fault like that, shouldn't one seek alms and so on? The answer is: with a mouthful of food, etc. For example, some beings are afflicted with scabies, unable to abide in comfort, and do not like solitary places, nor do they like cemeteries. They are obviously tormented and die. Similarly, if a monk obtains gain and respect, is overwhelmed by it, and has a mind of attachment, then he does not like cities, nor does he like solitary places. When he falls, monks, this is death, he will abandon the sole practice of this excellent Dharma and fall. When this was said, the monks felt disgusted, and later they did not go for alms, and even fasted for a day, and as a result they became pale and haggard. Therefore, two verses were spoken. "One should not eat or drink for the sake of living," which means that if one does not consume food and drink for the sake of living, then life will not exist. Enjoying in desire is sustained by a mouthful of food, and without it, it will perish. If food and drink are considered the best in that way, what will happen? The answer is: even with a mouthful of food, the body will not be calm. Even if it is eaten bit by bit. Nourishing with a mouthful of food refers to the nature of the place of loving-kindness, etc., which should be mentioned here. Even so, if one eats too much, the mind will not be calm, and neither the body nor the mind will be calm, because it is the cause of disease, defilement, and near afflictions. If that is the case, should one not eat? The answer is: food enables the body to exist. This statement was made, the intake of food is the basis for the existence of the body, and beings depend on food.

Because it is said in the scriptures to abide. If you want to enjoy, there is no abiding without food. In any case, moderate food, that is, the nature of coarse or fine food, can make the body that wants to enjoy grow, and if it is separated from all of this, it will die. Therefore, "knowing thus" means knowing thus. "Seeking alms and so on" means completely seeking alms and so on, and it is not allowed to seek only to maintain life. In this regard, gain and respect are beneficial to the wise, but not to the foolish. Because that will cause the foolish to fall into error, retreat from merit, and produce the torment of suffering, to show this, "by lineage" and so on are said. "Mud" means that because it is in accordance with drowning, it should be clearly understood as mud, and it should be combined with "offering with mudras." For example, if you live in a mud, you will drown, and similarly, if you follow gain and respect, you will fall into fault or suffering, that is its meaning. "Well understood" means well indicated and explained. "You" means all of you. "How should I understand things that are like mud?" If you ask this, you say, "What is this offering with lineage hands?" "Hand" is prostration, "offering" is a picture. "What is this" is a personal experience, that is to say, the Brahmin and other lineages with hands and offerings are like mud to me. This also causes people to retreat from merit, just as torment causes life to retreat, to show this, "subtle torment" is said, that is to say, the torment of gain and respect is difficult to know, and should be regarded as an arrow entering the body. In order to show when it can be difficult to take out from the continuum, it is said that it is difficult to take out, because it takes effort to take it out. people
