There is nothing. Therefore, it is said, "Eating an iron ball is best." This means that swallowing an iron ball or an iron sphere is permissible. How is it? It is burning, burned by fire. The so-called "like a burning flame" refers to something that is like a burning fire, the same as burning with fire. The so-called "cannot be eaten" refers to what is eaten and swallowed. This is how it is taught: It is better to eat a burnt iron ball that is like a burning flame than to eat the offerings of the region by a corrupt person. Eating an iron ball is better, the other is not. As it is said, from the distinctions of speech, the goal is the supreme Dharma, not the non-goal, because in all Dharmas, the goal is the form of selflessness, and compared to the non-goal, the goal itself is the most supreme, and this teaching should be understood in this way. The so-called corrupt morality is the broken morality, which means lying and so on. The so-called regional alms are the alms obtained from towns and so on, which means the food offered to monks with reverence. The so-called untamed means because it does not have the restraint of the senses, even if it has morality, but if the senses are not tamed, it is not appropriate to enjoy alms. Or, it is not diligent in the direction of virtue, because it is said in the scriptures that the livelihood taken by the lazy is used as debt. The so-called "This is very tamed," because they offer alms and so on out of faith in him, if he is very bad inside, then all of these will become debt. In order to prevent lying by praising the faults of lying, it is said in this way. In order to tell those who are afraid of sin not to commit such sins, it is taught here that "you are afraid of suffering" and so on. It is said that when the Blessed One passed through the river called Chiravatya, he saw an old man catching a lot of fish.

The Blessed One asked, 'What is your fear?' He replied, 'Gautama, I fear suffering.' The Blessed One said, 'If so, do not inflict suffering on others.' Why? Because inflicting suffering on others does not lead to happiness for oneself.' The Blessed One spoke these two verses. Furthermore, some wandering ascetics who feared suffering said, 'Gautama, I am here fearing suffering, by what means can my suffering be eliminated?' It is said that the Blessed One spoke these words for their sake. 'You' means 'if.' 'Fear' means to be afraid. 'Suffering' means 'from the suffering of the lower realms,' which is an ellipsis, because the fifth case is placed in the third position, so it means 'from suffering.' 'You' means 'if you dislike suffering,' that is, if you do not desire the suffering of the good realms or the suffering of conditioned existence. Because the suffering of the lower realms has already been mentioned. Because Therefore, because one is oppressed by it, one does not wish it to appear. Therefore, because one tends to be born after that, one fears suffering, hoping that one will never suffer. In order to point out the method of avoiding falling into it, it is said, 'Do not do,' meaning never do. 'Sinful deeds' means evil actions. 'Openly' means that everyone clearly sees. 'Or secretly' means either in a place where people cannot see, meaning in private. As it is said: 'Do not do in unseen places, the noble ones do not do such deeds.' If you have done sinful deeds, or even if you do, it means that if you do not know, after my complete Nirvana, you commit the faults of killing and so on, or even if I am still alive now, you do it in front of me, then you will suffer, that is, the suffering of body and mind. 'Will not be liberated' means it will definitely happen. If you do what will you not be liberated? The answer is, 'Get up.'

English
Even if one escapes, meaning: surpassing and exceeding one's own place or the ocean, etc. Or, even if one goes to a very distant place, as it is said: Wherever the sinful self goes, suffering will follow. Wherever there is fire, it will be burned there. Therefore, in order to cut off the true words that escaping to the sky, etc., will liberate one from it, it is said: Wherever one dwells, death cannot reach. And so on. Here, the connection to the topic is explained in the chapter on impermanence, and it is a statement of short-lived karma in the place of death. Because karma overwhelms everything, in order to explain that it should not be done, it is said: After observing others, what. And so on. King Ajatasatru was executed even for stealing just a quarter of a Karshapana, or just changing it. Therefore, in order to execute the many who commit theft, steal, and deceive oaths for a while, they were handed over to the executioner, and after taking control of their power, these words were spoken. The words "what" and "sinful deeds" should be applied here. The so-called "others" refers to those who commit theft, steal, and so on. The so-called "after observing" means carefully observing and thoroughly searching, that is, "who committed the sin." The so-called "sinner" will be explained below. The so-called "seeing" means determining the world. The so-called "sinner" refers to the fruits that are condemned and disliked by the noble ones. The so-called "I" refers to oneself. The so-called "should not do these" means that one should not do sinful deeds. Why? Because it is said: The deeds done by sin follow. It means that people will condemn the evildoer and say that the sinful person is inferior. The sinful deeds done by oneself will follow in this life and the next, just as I see everything with my eyes. Because the faults of sinful deeds are revealed, in order to prevent it, these words were spoken. In order to show that whoever is bound by the rope of karma will fall into a cliff, it is said: Whatever karma is
