Moreover, causing others to do. That action is a follower of people, That will cause one to fall into the abyss. Whatever good or bad deeds people do, Whatever actions are done, Will not be in vain, It will become a result in that way. As long as that collection exists, It will torment this person for that long. Therefore, others will torment him, The torment is eternal. "This will not follow me," Children do without thinking, The destination of evil deeds, Will be known in the afterlife. If children do not know, Having done evil deeds, At some point, they themselves, Will each bear the painful maturation. Being pressed down by one's own karma, Tormented as if burned by fire. Children with little wisdom, Treating themselves as enemies, Doing those that will bring great consequences, Evil deeds. Having done, one will feel pain, Tears covering the face, weeping, Each bearing the painful maturation, Those actions are better not done. Having done, one will not feel pain, Happy and with a peaceful mind, Each bearing the mature results, Those actions are better to do. For the sake of one's own happiness, Having done evil deeds like a fool, The maturation of those evil deeds, Will be experienced while weeping. Absolutely do not let sinful actions immediately, Become like milk. Like fire covered by ashes, It will burn the child. Sinful actions will absolutely not immediately, Cut like a sword, But the destination of sinful actions, Will appear in the afterlife. There, their mature, Painful results are each borne, The destination of sinful actions, Will be known in the afterlife. Rust arises from iron, The rust that arises corrodes the iron itself. Similarly, having done without thinking, One's own karma leads to falling into the lower realms. The ninth chapter on karma. Faith, shame, discipline, generosity, These dharmas are praised by the noble ones. By these, one can go to the world of the five realms, It is said that through this path one can go to the heavenly realm. Stingy people do not go to the heavenly realm, These children do not speak the praise of generosity. The steadfast ones rejoice in generosity.

They therefore experience happiness elsewhere; here, faith is the supreme treasure of a man. Here, one obtains happiness by practicing well in the Dharma; only truth is the best of all tastes. It is said that living by wisdom is the best of lives. Those who go to Nirvana, Arhats generate faith in the Dharma, and if the wise listen with respect, they will obtain that and that wisdom. The cautious cross the ocean, and faith delivers them from all rivers. Diligence abandons suffering, and wisdom transforms it completely. A monk who has a friend of faith and is filled with wisdom, and who rejoices in Nirvana, will be able to cut all bonds. Whoever cultivates faith, discipline, and wisdom well, and the wise abandon faults, that person is called a person of good conduct. Faith and discipline are perfectly complete, generosity is abundant, and stinginess is completely abandoned; wherever that person goes, he and she will be honored. In the world where the wise live, faith and wisdom are relied upon; these are their supreme treasures, and their other treasures are ordinary and perishable. One who desires to see the noble ones, who delights in hearing the sacred Dharma, and who has completely abandoned the stain of stinginess, is called a faithful person. One should accumulate the provisions for the path of faith; merit cannot be stolen by thieves, and one should prevent the theft of thieves. It is pleasing if taken by virtuous ones. The wise will rejoice in the arrival of virtuous ones, and people will give according to their ability, as is appropriate. If someone is unhappy with the food and drink of others, they will not be able to attain samadhi day and night. Just as cutting off the top of a palm tree, one who completely cuts off in that way will attain samadhi day and night. Just as a dry well, one should not associate with those without faith. Even if one digs there, only foul-smelling muddy water will arise. Just as water flows into a lake, full of clear water, and having become cool and free of turbidity, the wise should associate with those who have faith. Whether attached or not, they do not harm the body of the capable one, so one should abandon those without faith and associate with those who have faith. The tenth chapter on faith. Summary.
