To ultimately tame all beings, to exhaust the cycle of birth and death, and to understand each of the realms separately, the one with eyes has well shown this path. Just as the stream of the Ganges River flows and enters into the ocean, so too, this path shown by vast wisdom is entered in order to attain immortality. Whoever, with loving-kindness towards all beings, turned the wheel of Dharma unheard of before, protecting and taming gods and humans, to that one who has reached the limit of existence, I pay homage. Three virtuous thoughts should be examined, and three non-virtuous ones should also be abandoned. Just as rising dust is suppressed by rain, so too, the four of investigation and analysis should be interrupted. Thus, when the mind's thoughts are nearly pacified, one will touch the bliss of unsurpassed enlightenment. Place your trust in the three samadhis, and cultivate the immeasurable born from truth. The mindful and wise should pacify the knots, and with the three, thoroughly sever the three places. Possessing the weapon of wisdom and the strength of diligence, delighting in mindful equipoise and samadhi, having realized the arising and ceasing of the world, that is the one who is well liberated from all. Having well realized the limit of the world, it is said that reaching the limit of the world is to have gone to the other shore. Whoever cultivates the straight path of the eight branches of the peaceful noble path, that one finds nectar. By acting in this way, the one who desires happiness obtains happiness, obtains a good name, and increases in fame. This is the twelfth chapter on the categories of the path. The chapter on special statements. Second volume. Like a female mule with its own womb, reeds with fruit, a water tree with fruit like a bee, a male servant is destroyed by respect. As long as a fool is worshiped, so long is he utterly destroyed. The white part of a child diminishes, and its greenness also certainly decays. The wicked desire gain, the monastic community also desires, being stingy with dwelling places, and the offerings of other families, whether ordained or householders, whoever is arrogant, whether actions are done or not done, if it becomes my power, then they hope. Thus, when children think in this way, great desire increases in their minds. The means of obtaining is something else, nirvana.

It is for the benefit of others. Having understood accordingly as appropriate, Not delighting in honors, Gradually increasing solitude, A bhikshu is a Buddha and a Shravaka. Not striving for everything, Not being deceived by people, Not relying on others for sustenance, Not using the Dharma like a trade. One's own gains should be accepted, Desire should not arise for the gains of others, If a bhikshu desires the benefit of others, He will not attain samadhi. If you wish to live happily, If you wish to see this ascetic, If the Sangha bestows Dharma robes, And if food and drink are bestowed, If you wish to live happily, If you wish to see this ascetic, Like a snake watching from a mouse hole, You should rely on dwellings. If you wish to live happily, If you wish to see this ascetic, Knowing contentment with a small amount of bad things, You should only meditate on one Dharma. If you cannot know many Dharmas, If you maintain the precepts well, Those who know this praise him, Saying, "This is pure and without laziness." If there is one who destroys the Lord of Death, Possessing the three samadhis of uncontaminated wisdom, A fool thinks he is ignorant, Therefore, it is easy to slander him. If a person has sinful qualities, If he has gains of food and drink, If he is associated with those gains, Then they offer to him. Having shaved his head and wearing saffron robes, The food and drink obtained by a child, The gains of clothing and bedding, Only increase enemies. Thus, knowing the faults of great fear of honor, Reducing playfulness and abandoning mental labor, A mindful bhikshu always walks. Not being content with a mouthful of food, Not eating and acting for the sake of life, Because food can make the body abide, Thus, knowing, always practice begging for alms. Whatever offerings are made by lineage, It is difficult to extract the pain of subtle poisonous arrows, Whatever honors are difficult for people to endure, Know them well as if they were mud. The thirteenth chapter on the collection of honors is complete. Not doing sinful deeds, Being angry at those who should not be angered, In this world and the next, He is covered by sins. First, destroying oneself, Later, also destroying others, Like a hawk seizing a bird of prey.
