Om. Abandoning like an old snake shedding its old skin. Whoever possesses discipline, that is a Bhikshu. Whoever possesses emptiness, that is meditation. Whoever constantly acts, that is yoga. Whoever has extinguished suffering, that is bliss. A Bhikshu does not speak of joy or displeasure, Relying on pure places at the edge of the world, He dwells in mindfulness, and well eliminates the subtle increase of craving and desire. The chapter on Bhikshus, the thirty-second, is complete. Whoever, even adorned, practices the Dharma, is disciplined and peaceful, correctly practices vows, and lives in celibacy. Not harming all beings with punishment, That is a Brahmin, a Shramana, a Bhikshu. Not by practicing nakedness, not by matted hair, not by filth, Not by not eating, not by lying on the ground, Not by dust and dirt, not by striving in a squatting position, Can people become pure, can they cross over doubts. Whatever Shramana or Brahmin, Develops attachment to these things, Without attaining the exhaustion of outflows, Abandoning midway, they completely degenerate. Whatever Shramana or Brahmin, Develops attachment to these things, Without attaining the exhaustion of feelings, Abandoning midway, they completely degenerate. Whatever Shramana or Brahmin, Develops attachment to these things, Views are biased towards one side, Abandoning midway, they completely degenerate. Whatever Shramana or Brahmin, Develops attachment to these things, Foolish beings with evil thoughts, Abandoning midway, they completely degenerate. Whatever Shramana or Brahmin, Develops attachment to these things, Without attaining the supreme state, Abandoning midway, they completely degenerate. Foolish one, what is the use of your matted hair? What is the use of your animal skin garment? While your inside is full of impurities, You diligently clean the outside. Foolish one, what is the use of your matted hair? What is the use of your animal skin garment? While your inside is full of defilements, You diligently clean the outside. Not by birth does one become a Brahmin, Not by matted hair, not by lineage. Whoever possesses the true Dharma, That one is pure, is a Brahmin. Not by birth does one become a Brahmin, Not by matted hair, not by lineage. Whoever abandons all sins, great and small, Because they have abandoned sins, Therefore, it is certain to say that they are a Brahmin. Merely shaving the head is not a Shramana, Merely saying "Om" (藏文:ཨོཾ་,梵文天城體:ओम्,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,漢語字面意思:嗡) is not a Brahmin. Whoever possesses
