He who possesses the Dharma of quiescence, that pure one is the Brahmin. Merely shaving the head is not a Shramana, merely saying "Om" (藏文:ཨོཾ།,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:om,汉语字面意思:嗡) is not a Brahmin. Whoever abandons all great and small sins, because he has abandoned sins, he is a Shramana, he is a Brahmin. Most people bathe here, but they are not purified by water. Whoever abandons all great and small sins, because he has abandoned sins, he is a Shramana, he is a Brahmin. Whoever has completely abandoned sinful dharmas, always acts with mindfulness, the Buddha who has exhausted all fetters, in the world is the Brahmin. The Brahmin who has abandoned sinful dharmas, dwells without hypocrisy and without affliction, has reached the end of the Vedas, practices pure conduct, speaks at the right time, he is the speaker of Brahma. Whoever does not dwell in deceit, has no pride, whoever has no attachment, no possession, no expectation, has destroyed disputes, and whose self is inclined towards Nirvana, he is the Brahmin, he is the Shramana, he is the Bhikshu. Whoever is born from the womb of a mother, if he still clings, he will be called a son, I do not say he is a Brahmin. Completely without clinging, without taking or rejecting, I say he is a Brahmin. Whoever does not commit evil deeds with body, speech, and mind, whoever is able to subdue the three places well, I say he is a Brahmin. Whose words are not harsh, understandable, pleasing, and speaks truthfully, who does not generate afflictions, I say he is a Brahmin. Whoever can endure killing, bondage, abuse, and patience towards hateful people, possesses the asceticism and strength of patience, I say he is a Brahmin. Without anger, possessing discipline, possessing asceticism, without worry, gentle and abiding at the end of the body, I say he is a Brahmin. Whoever does not associate with renunciates and householders, and does not mix with both, has few desires, and does not come from a household, I say he is a Brahmin. Without obvious joy in the future, without sorrow for the past, separated from sexual union, victorious in battle, I say he is a Brahmin. Without obvious joy in the future, without sorrow for the past, free from dust, peaceful and without sorrow, I say he is a Brahmin. Whoever has few desires and does not instigate others.

Tamed and well-established in essence, having eliminated defilements and faults, that one I call a Brahmin. Whoever has the other shore, this shore, and is without both the other shore and this shore, having reached the end of all dharmas, that one I call a Brahmin. Whoever has the other shore, this shore, and is without both the other shore and this shore, whoever is not attached to the three realms, that one I call a Brahmin. Whoever does not take a little of the world, whether short or long, small or large, virtuous or non-virtuous, that one I call a Brahmin. Whoever knows this well, has exhausted his own suffering, is free from desire and not attached, that one I call a Brahmin. Whoever is not stained by either virtue or sin, is unclad, free from dust, and peaceful, that one I call a Brahmin. Whoever has completely transcended whatever attachment there is to the actions of virtue and sin, is liberated from attachment, that one I call a Brahmin. Whoever does not have a beginning, an end, or a middle, is free from dust and liberated from bonds, that one I call a Brahmin. Like water on a lotus leaf, like mustard seed on the tip of a needle, whoever does not dwell in sin, that one I call a Brahmin. Like water on a lotus leaf, like mustard seed on the tip of a needle, whoever does not dwell in desire, that one I call a Brahmin. Like water on a lotus leaf, like mustard seed on the tip of a needle, whoever has completely abandoned delight in existence, that one I call a Brahmin. Like the moon, pure and stainless, free from faults and utterly clear, whoever is not stained by sin, that one I call a Brahmin. Like the moon, pure and stainless, free from faults and utterly clear, whoever is not stained by desire, that one I call a Brahmin. Like the moon, pure and stainless, free from faults and utterly clear, whoever has completely abandoned delight in existence, that one I call a Brahmin. Like the sky not stained by mud, like the moon not stained by dust, whoever is not stained by sin, that one I call a Brahmin. Like the sky not stained by mud, like the moon not stained by dust, whoever is not stained by desire, that one I call a Brahmin. Like the sky not stained by mud, like the moon not stained by dust, delight in existence
