Loving all beings, practicing compassion towards all sentient beings, that person will never harbor resentment. Loving all relatives and friends, as well as all beings, cultivating a mind of loving-kindness, happiness will greatly increase. If someone has no hatred towards any living being, practicing loving-kindness, what that person does is virtuous. If one cherishes all sentient beings with their mind, then vast merit will be perfectly accomplished by the noble ones. Anyone who cultivates virtuous Dharma with a joyful heart and fearless intention will attain accomplishment and happiness. Liberated by correct wisdom, with sorrow gradually pacified, that person's mind will be tranquil, and the actions of body and speech will also be tranquil. Just as one sees all phenomena as they are with a focused mind, the five musical instruments cannot bring the same joy. Those whose minds delight in meditation do not indulge in desires. Whoever is slightly free from suffering, the protector will sleep peacefully. Those whose minds delight in meditation do not indulge in play. Whoever is slightly free from suffering, the capable one (Shakyamuni Buddha) will rejoice. Whose mind is like a rock, steadfast and unmoving, not attached to places of attachment, not angry at places of anger, whoever's mind is like that, how could they suffer? Not slandering, not harming, restraining oneself with the Pratimoksha vows, also knowing moderation in food, dwelling in remote and solitary places, practicing higher mind. This is the teaching of the Buddha. Being skilled in the signs of the mind, obtaining the taste of extreme solitude, having an upright mind and diligent practice, experiencing joy without defilement. Whoever's mind guards solitude, delights in dwelling in solitude, constantly guarding behavior with their own body, as well as speech and mind, that person will abandon sorrow and will not suffer. The unguarded mind, destroyed by wrong views, suppressed by sleep and drowsiness, will fall under the control of Mara. Therefore, one should guard one's own mind, adorn the front with correct views, with correct attention as the field of activity, knowing correct arising and ceasing. When sleep and drowsiness suppress, virtue
