The retinue of Brahma and the attendants of Brahma. The second has three: Little Light, Immeasurable Light, and Clear Light. The third also has three: Little Virtue, Immeasurable Virtue, and Universal Virtue. The fourth has eight abodes: Cloudless, Merit-born, Great Fruit, Non-Great, Non-Hot, Well-Appearing, Extremely Manifest, and Akanistha. The Great Brahma, like the unconscious beings, has no other place. The formless realm has no order of up and down, therefore these have no place. There are four kinds of birth: the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, and the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. In these three realms, five destinies are established: sentient beings in hell, animals, hungry ghosts, gods, and humans. There are four kinds of birthplaces: born from eggs, born from wombs, born from moisture and heat, and born by transformation. There are eleven grounds: the desire realm, the fearless, the first dhyana, the distinguished dhyana, the second, the third, the fourth dhyana, and the four formless realms. Among them, the desire realm and the peak of existence are entirely with outflows. The rest are with and without outflows. The explanation of the occasion is complete, and we return to the main text. The so-called "knowledges" are ten: knowledge of the Dharma, knowledge of analogy, knowledge of the minds of others, conventional knowledge, knowledge of suffering, knowledge of the origin, knowledge of cessation, knowledge of the path, knowledge of outflows, and knowledge of non-arising. Among them, the formations belonging to the desire realm, and its cause, cessation, abandonment, combination, liberation, and distinguished paths, and whatever undefiled knowledge is on the ground of Dharma knowledge, that is Dharma knowledge. In the beginningless cycle of existence, those who are always seized by the crocodile of self-grasping, because they see only Dharma at the very beginning, it is called Dharma knowledge. In the form and formless realms,

The formations born of contact, and its cause, cessation, abandonment, combination, liberation, and the special paths, and on the ground of subsequent realization knowledge, what is the undefiled knowledge, that is subsequent realization knowledge, because it arises after the knowledge of Dharma, it is subsequent realization knowledge. The knowledge born from Samadhi, with which one understands the minds and mental events of others, like the desire realm and form realm that are arising now, and some undefiled knowledge, that is the knowledge of others' minds. It also has two aspects, namely defiled and undefiled. Among them, the defiled understands the desire realm and form realm. The undefiled also has two aspects, namely the aspect of Dharma knowledge and the aspect of subsequent realization knowledge. Among them, the former understands Dharma knowledge and what arises together with it. The latter understands subsequent realization knowledge and what arises together with it. Those that are not associated with form, and the unconditioned, the past and the future, and those belonging to the formless realm, the grounds and faculties, and the superior individuals, are not understood. Conventional knowledge is wisdom with defilements, conventional is mostly applied to vases and blankets and so on, so it is conventional knowledge. It is also defiled and non-defiled. The defiled is also of two kinds, namely the nature of views and the nature of not views. The nature of views is the five views, namely the view of the aggregates, the view of extremes, the wrong view, the view of holding views as supreme, and the view of holding ethics and vows as supreme. The nature of not views is, the wisdom that has doubt, desire, anger, pride, ignorance, wrath and so on. The non-defiled is also of two kinds, namely virtuous and obscured and unspecified. Among them, the unspecified is not a view but wisdom itself. What is virtuous? That which arises together with the five consciousnesses, that is wisdom and not a view, because it does not comprehend. What is the mind ground, that is the worldly right view.
