Cessation and arising are the same. Those with the same result, those with the same corresponding cause, and those with the same maturation. Among them, those with the same result are those that are the result of the mind; those are theirs. Whatever is theirs, that is of the mind. For example, whatever results from the mind, such as feelings, those are of those who follow it. Those that are the same corresponding cause are the same corresponding cause; it is a synonym for "similar result." That is to say, whatever corresponding cause of the mind, such as virtue, those are of those who follow it, and it will be explained in this way. Those that are the same maturation are the same maturation; maturation is like being a human. Whatever maturation of the mind, those are of those who follow it. What is equal share? Mentioning "own ground" and so on. Own ground is of one's own ground. Among them, whatever dharmas belong to the desire realm, those are the causes of those belonging to the desire realm. Similarly, the dharmas belonging to the form and formless realms are of those belonging to the form and formless realms themselves. Mentioning "category" encompasses all five categories, from the category to be abandoned by seeing suffering to the category to be abandoned by meditation. Among them, what is to be abandoned by seeing suffering is of the dharmas to be abandoned by seeing suffering, and those are also of those previously born, of those who arise. Similar dharmas are like virtue being of the virtuous. The term "in the manner of seed dharma" is like a rice sprout arising from a rice seed; understand similarity in this manner of seed dharma. Equal share is an equal portion, a synonym for "similar." That is, it is both an equal share and a cause, so it is the cause of equal share. Regarding "own ground," there are nine grounds: the desire realm, concentration, and the formless realms. The term "pervasive" means pervasive because it pervades everything. Those have also been said before, going to the object that is the object of everything.

Thus it is. The so-called "afflicted" are none other than desire and the like. The all-pervasive ones are the cause because they themselves are the cause, hence they are the cause of all-pervasiveness. The cause of equal share is none other than its own kind. This is also the cause of different kinds, this is the difference between the two. The differently matured is the vipāka, such as human beings and the like. Its cause is the cause of vipāka. Among them, the unwholesome ones are desire and the like. The wholesome ones are faith and the like. Since they are both wholesome and tainted, they are the wholesome tainted ones, and since desire and the like increase, they are the tainted ones. Why are those not shown in the scriptures not the cause of vipāka? Because their power is small, like rotten seeds. Why are the untainted ones not? Because they are not moistened by craving, like dry seeds. The so-called "those" are the unwholesome ones and the like. The dharma that will mature, the dharma that will mature is called maturation, hence it is the holder of the dharma that will mature. Dharma is eye consciousness and the like, when they arise. The so-called "non-self-nature" is because it is contradictory to take the self as the self-nature, hence it is not self-nature, it is not seen as its producer. All dharmas, all dharmas are conditioned and unconditioned. Why is it thought to be called "cause"? Therefore, it is said in the scriptures, "by things that do not hinder or obscure arising." Hindrance is interruption. Non-hindrance is non-hindrance. Obscuration is cessation, that is, stopping. Non-obscuration is non-obscuration. Since it does not obscure arising, it does not obscure arising. Arising without hindrance and without obscuration is arising without hindrance and without obscuration, that is, being in a state of arising without hindrance and without obscuration. Therefore, it will be shown that all those who do not hinder the arising of all dharmas are called the cause of the agent. When the agent itself is the cause, so all causes will also be called the cause of the agent, then what?

English

Therefore, it is called the cause that only does this. Said: Those are called by other names. That which has no other name is called by that sound itself, like the birth of form. The causes have already been explained. Now the results will be explained. For the thought of "what is what," therefore, it is mentioned that "the cause that arises together with it and possesses it simultaneously is the result of what the person does," which is to be distinguished. How so? It is said "na," the sound of na means "for what." For what, by the power of what ability is born, that is its. In the world, it shows the result of what the person does. For example, fruits and so on are the results of what the person does in the fields, similarly, those that arise from the power of mind and so on are distinguished as the results of what the person does. Ripening differently is different ripening. What kind of difference? From the causes of good and non-good comes the term of non-indicated. Sentient beings are humans and so on. That which is called sentient being is called sentient being. Unobscured and indicated means the term of not being stained by afflictions, that is its nature. What is the difference between the result of what a person does and the result of self-ownership? Said: The result of what a person does is the doer's. The result of self-ownership is also the non-doer's. For example, the craftsmanship of craftsmen is both the result of what a person does and the result of self-ownership, and other non-doers are only the result of self-ownership. In this way, the distinction between cause and effect has been explained for what is to be produced and the object that produces. Now, in order to express other results by means of the object of what is to be obtained and the cause and effect of obtaining, it is said that "Nirvana is called the result of separation." Because of separation, it is separation, meaning that afflictions will never arise. The result of separation itself is the result of separation. That is to be obtained, because it is to be obtained through the path. It is not what is to be produced.
