Just like that, it is realized that there is no difference. If distinguished, it is realized that there is a difference. In order to indicate the example of names. Among them, 'name' refers to what is said, and so on. Because words are devoted to things, it is a name, a synonym for being devoted to the realm of things. For example, like form and sound. 'Word' refers to that by which the meaning intended to be expressed is understood, so it is a word, a synonym for containing. The intended meaning is the meaning intended to be said. To become completely perfect is a synonym for becoming completely contained. Here, 'Do not commit all evils' is an example shown from one's own tenets. Secondly, 'Devadatta the white woman' and so on are examples taken from the mundane world. 'Letter' refers to that if it exists, the meaning becomes clear, and because it distinguishes, it is a letter. For example, like 'A'. 'Each' refers to one by one, the names exist separately, so it is 'each'. The sound of the word 'collection' means many. Therefore, it is called the collection of names, the collection of words, and the collection of letters. Here, 'Even the great sage...' and so on, indicate the origin from the scriptures. Whether the Tathagatas appear or do not appear, if it is merely knowing the collection of names, words, and letters, then those are known after the Tathagatas appear. The intention of this is: whatever collections of names and words, such as the aggregates and sense bases, are known after the Tathagatas appear. The four, such as the fruit of stream-entry, are called the fruits of a renunciate. Dependent origination is like this: conditioned by ignorance are the formations; conditioned by the formations is consciousness; conditioned by consciousness are name and form; conditioned by name and form are the six sense bases; conditioned by the six sense bases is contact; conditioned by contact is feeling; conditioned by feeling is craving; conditioned by craving is grasping; conditioned by grasping is existence; conditioned by existence is birth; conditioned by birth are old age and death, as well as sorrow and lamentation.

And, suffering and, discomfort and, disturbances arise. Thus, this great aggregate of suffering will uniquely arise, it is said. The things of formation are these, it is said, which is the complete statement of the aggregate of formation. As it is shown, it should be explained. Therefore, now it is said that consciousness should be stated. Regarding things of objects such as form, by stating things, it shows that consciousness is not without an object. Whoever sees two moons, is it also? That is because, relying on the form of the moon and so on, a mistaken consciousness arises. If consciousness arises without relying on an object, then it would also arise without relying on a place. In that case, the six consciousnesses would become without distinction. It would also contradict the sutra which says that consciousness arises depending on two things. Saying "only"

That is, the so-called focusing on the moment of the present, all formations also focus on the moment of the present. Why specifically mention consciousness? Because there are unequal moments in this, that is, at the time of the forbearance of knowing the Dharma of suffering, but form is not like that. Are there not also unequal moments in the non-revealing form included in the undefiled discipline? Even if that is the case, if it exists, then consciousness is the main thing. Or, at the time of complete extinction, there is only one moment of consciousness, because form is not a homogeneous cause, so there is no contradiction. The realms of good and non-good are increased through (consciousness). Because it is knowing, it is mind. Because it is various knowing, it is consciousness. For example, hands and scatterers and drinkers, etc. Or, what has passed is mind, what is happening now is consciousness, and what is to come is heart. The so-called cause of the imputation of the initial sentient being's aggregate should be connected to the imputation of sentient beings. What is the so-called initial sentient being's aggregate, that is the initial sentient being's aggregate, as it is said: "Ananda, if consciousness does not enter the mother's womb, will semen and blood congeal into blood clots?" Or, sentient beings themselves are aggregates, so they are the aggregates of sentient beings. Because of imputation, it is a designation, which is a term of worldly expression. The cause of the imputation of the sentient being's aggregate is the cause of the agent. The initial is the term for the main thing. It is both the cause of the imputation of the sentient being's aggregate and the initial, so it is the initial cause of the imputation of the sentient being's aggregate. That is to say, the eyes and so on are also the cause of imputing sentient beings, but in reality, consciousness itself is the cause of imputation, not the eyes and so on, even if it does not possess it, it will impute the term of sentient beings, if there is no consciousness, it will not impute the term of sentient beings. Discerning the respective objects of form and so on is the term for distinguishing each of form and so on.
