Where one dies, there one is born. There is neither transference of death nor birth, and there is also the non-abandonment of equal share, which is entering into certainty. That is, abandoning the equal share of individual ordinary beings and obtaining the equal share of noble ones. To transmigrate and be born, abandoning the equal share, is to transmigrate from among humans and be born among the gods. There is neither transference of death nor birth, and neither abandoning nor obtaining the equal share, which is said to be other than those forms. In the treatise, it says that entering into certainty is abandoning the equal share of individual ordinary beings and obtaining the equal share of noble ones, therefore, what difference is there between the very nature of individual ordinary beings and the equal share of individual ordinary beings? Thus it is asked. Agreement of desire is similarity of desire, which is said to be equal share. The very nature of individual ordinary beings is that which has become the source of all harms, which has become a kind. In order to show that very meaning, monks, it is said, "called children," and so forth. Furthermore, "if they come here," which occurs, is coming to this world, abandoning the equal share of the gods, and transmigrating from among the gods to obtain the equal share of humans. Thus, the equal share is obtained and abandoned. The very nature of individual ordinary beings is that there is no obtaining another equal share, or abandoning what has been obtained, or obtaining what has not been obtained, because the very nature of individual ordinary beings pervades all compounded phenomena. That is because there is no abandonment by abandoning homogeneity, therefore, one should know that there is a great difference between equal share and the very nature of individual ordinary beings. Having arrived at the section on definitions, regarding the branch within the arising of phenomena, birth is the future manifestly tending towards birth. That is both birth and phenomenon, therefore it is the birth of phenomena. The sound of "phenomena" completely grasps form and so forth. That is both self and capacity, therefore it is one's own capacity, the capacity to generate future phenomena. Obtaining one's own capacity is finding one's own respective capacity. The cause of that is the cause of obtaining one's own capacity, the place where future phenomena arise in the present.

This is the meaning of the term "cause of arising from the earth." It is an internal limb and also the cause of obtaining its own power, so it is an internal limb, that is, the cause of obtaining its own power. Because it is not a common cause, it is an internal limb, that is, the cause of obtaining the power of the internal limb of Dharma arising. What is the internal limb of Dharma arising that obtains its own power? That is birth. The external limbs are causes and conditions, which will be explained below. Causes and conditions are external limbs, the substance of causes, because they are the common cause of the arising of form, etc., so they are not the main ones. In order to show its existence with reason, if it does not exist, actions and so on will be mentioned. If birth does not exist, even if causes and conditions exist, like space, Dharma will not arise. Like space and so on, if birth does not exist, then form and so on are accumulated, and similarly space and so on will also become accumulated. If the non-existence of birth is the same, then why is form and so on accumulated, and space and so on are not? Therefore, birth itself is established. In order to examine the characteristics of abiding, "projecting other fruits" and so on are mentioned. Other fruits arising from this fruit are other fruits. The projection of other fruits is the projection of other fruits. Because it can project, it is projection, that is, completely holding the arising of Dharma. By virtue of it, the arising of Dharma does not become an obstacle. The abiding at the time of projecting other fruits is the abiding at the time of projecting other fruits, that is, for how long can other fruits be projected. If it does not abide, it cannot project fruits. What is the cause of becoming abiding? That is abiding. By what, that is, by what power. To explain the characteristics of aging, it is explained, that is, in "projecting the second fruit" and so on, the cause that harms the ability to project the second fruit is weakening it, that is, aging. If this is the case, it will not be momentary. That is to say, the Dharma will also exist for multiple moments. Due to the power of aging, if the ability to project one fruit is completely lost, then projecting other
