And so on, which is called the manifestation of self-nature. Conventional is obscuration, that is, obscuring knowledge. Because ignorance has not been abandoned, that is, self-nature and continuum have not been liberated from the two kinds of liberation. Alternatively, conventional is terminology, and the knowledge that falls into it is conventional knowledge. Others say it is common sense. Conventional mostly refers to things like pots and cloths. Mentioning "mostly" is to indicate more clearly. This knowledge sometimes also applies to the ultimate truth, such as all phenomena being without self. Knowledge is with outflows, and transcendence of the world is its antidote, therefore it is the complete cutting off of the object itself. Except for arising together with self-nature, all phenomena are objects of self-nature. The moment of mind belongs to another. Therefore, self-nature cannot be known, because it is contradictory for oneself to act on oneself. Those who express their own experience with the example of a lamp, according to their view, the lamp is to be illuminated, not the illuminator. Apart from cloth and lamp, there is no other substance to be illuminated. The same applies to feelings and so on, because they are very close. Furthermore, the identity of the object will also be lost. If one has entered the state of no-self, why cannot one understand the ultimate truth? Just as a dancer, even if very well trained, cannot perform like a king, because even if it becomes like that, it is not truly abiding in it. Conventional knowledge is also divided into afflicted and non-afflicted. Afflicted is also divided into two types, that is, having the nature of view is the nature of view. The five views are as stated before. Not having the nature of view is not the nature of view, and is associated with a collection of doubts and so on. Saying "that is wisdom itself" is the view of a tenet system. Non-afflicted is also divided into two types, that is, virtuous and unobscured and unspecified. Born from maturation and so on are divided into four types, that is not the thought of completely seeking, and because it is an outward-looking form, it is not a view. Virtuous refers to completely understanding.
