In the realm of equality, all practitioners exist. But in the peak of existence, neither exists, because there are no other realms or grounds. If it is said that desire is to be abandoned, then it will be explained in detail: desire is what those who want liberation should completely abandon. If the object of desire is the unpolluted dharma, then, because one has already entered the ranks of those who want liberation, just like the desire for virtuous dharma, yogis should not abandon it. Because the basis of desire for aspiration is to be abandoned, so the unpolluted dharma should also be abandoned, because it is also the object of desire. The Blessed One also said that if the desire for aspiration is abandoned, then your physical body should also be abandoned. Therefore, there is no desire that takes the unpolluted dharma as its object. Furthermore, if the two kinds of clinging, the clinging to what is supreme, take the unpolluted dharma as their object, then they will become characterized by right view, because the unpolluted dharmas are pure and supreme. Therefore, they will not become what is abandoned by the path of seeing, because they are not afflictions. From the perspective of the object, from the perspective of being in accordance, it will increase, if it is said like this, then after determining solely from the perspective of the object, there is no need to ask, just like this, whatever increases from the perspective of the object, they will undoubtedly also increase from the perspective of being in accordance. Why are only the three times the root of unwholesomeness, and not wrong views and others? It should be said: whatever affliction has the nature of subtle, increasing five aspects, is not a near affliction, can cause the actions of body and speech, is in accordance with the six consciousnesses, and is the cause that has the power to cut off the roots of virtue, that is the true root of unwholesomeness, and others are not. It is said: subtle increase of five aspects, all actions of body and speech can be caused, consciousness relies on पहले (Sanskrit Devanagari: pūrva, Sanskrit Romanization: purva, Chinese literal meaning: before) white root, the guidance of all actions is the root of unwholesomeness. In the formless realm there are two behaviors, it is said, if it is the object to be abandoned by the path of seeing, then when wrong views and others with meditative concentration

It is also the same when focusing on the corresponding favorable qualities and the corresponding path in accordance with the Bhūmi of Existence. The object to be abandoned by meditation, which is not afflicted, is also the undefiled faculty of pleasure itself, and not something else. For it is said: "The objects of activity of the virtuous, formless realities are not the lower realms with outflows." Those noble ones born in the formless realm, through the power of habituation, with consciousness of virtuous qualities with outflows, focus on the undefiled of the third dhyana. It should be understood that it is focusing on the faculty of pleasure for them. The final part is twofold: in terms of realms, it is the desire realm; in terms of sentient beings, it is the ordinary person. Among them, even if one has attained the noble Dharma, but does not transcend the desire realm, it is the desire for desire and the two of malice. Although one is separated from desire from the desire and form realms, one still does not transcend the state of an ordinary person, and remains steadfast in the last of the desire realm and sentient beings, which are the remaining three. The so-called three alone are mentioned, referring to the view of the aggregates, the adherence to ethics and asceticism as supreme, and doubt. If it is said, "Why is greed, etc., completely..." why is it not debated here? Because it is said, "Completely," if completely is exhausted without remainder, then the greed, etc., to be abandoned by meditation is not exhausted, so it is not debated. The antidote for lengthening the distance is the distinguished path, which means that all paths other than the three are distinguished paths. The complete knowledge of this is classified as follows: there, the attachment that is the object of form, which is the bond conforming to the higher part, is the main one, so it is said that the complete knowledge of the exhaustion of attachment to form. Endurance and so on are the retinue of consciousness, because endurance is the retinue of this consciousness, therefore these are the retinue of consciousness, because the term of retinue is shown to ordinary people, and abandonment is also the result of endurance. Explanation of the Fifth Place. Because it is the antidote to the three realms, and if the path of seeing is the mundane path, then it will not become the antidote to the peak of existence. If so, then even if the path of meditation is supramundane, it would follow that the nine categories to be abandoned by it would be abandoned all at once.
