Disbelief and those with wrong views do not generate vows. If someone takes refuge out of ignorance, but not with wrong views or hesitation, then even without taking refuge, the upasatha vows will arise. The phrase "except for ignorance" refers to the giver and the receiver, that is, those who do not take refuge due to hesitation, do not have the lay vows. The phrase "their manifestation" refers to "Gagon Sangpo," these two. The phrase "Sangha Jewel" refers to the Sangha, which will become the successor to the turning of the wheel of Dharma. If someone obtains vows that the noble ones do not abandon in other lives, that is a natural transgression, such as killing and taking what is not given. The phrase "because the afflictions of both supports are heavier" refers to what? It refers to those who desire to engage in intercourse with men and also desire to engage in intercourse with women, and because their afflictions are heavier, they cannot be individually examined. Hermaphrodites do not have vows because their afflictions are heavier and they lack extreme shame and embarrassment. For Zama and Maning, it is also because they lack extreme shame and embarrassment. The phrase "three ripenings without before or after" refers to the form that experiences happiness, such as the eye. The mind and mental factors that experience suffering refer to the consciousness of the eye, etc. And the mind and mental factors that are in accordance with them. Displeasure is not a result. Neither happiness nor suffering refers to non-associated life faculty, etc. The phrase "demonstrators" refers to: those who explain with metaphors are the demonstrators. The word "also" in the phrase "noble ones do not experience elsewhere either" indicates that it is not experienced after birth. Therefore, there will be no decline or rebirth, because it is stable and will become excellent. The word "stable" is to cut off the unstable, that is, the unstable is not experienced after birth, nor does it cause it to be experienced in other instances.

Because even when completely damaged, there is a possibility of rebirth (of virtue). Here, the example of the hell where the "Kyi hud heart wails and recites mantras" is given, referring to a thief chieftain who had five hundred Pratyekabuddhas killed. "Without an owner" refers to the wealth of someone without children, taken without permission from the local ruler. "If neither is done" will be explained in detail. If that were the case, like the vows of meditation and non-outflow, it would be too extreme for the path of karma to rely solely on the mind. In the desire realm, non-manifestation that is acted upon, that which is without manifestation, also does not exist. "Acting in the desire realm" is to differentiate it from the non-manifestation of meditation and non-outflow. How do these two become paths of karma? It refers to the two, sages and monks. The teacher Samantabhadra says that sages are actually performing manifestation, because non-humans can perceive that they have begun to abandon thought, so those who have faith in them, through their bodies, generate the path of karma towards those sages. Furthermore, due to anger, at that time they will not be devoured by demons, and the actions of body and speech will waver, so there is no contradiction. At the Uposatha, how the meaning to be understood by words, the movement of the body also generates the path of karma, similarly, I (a monk) think, "The venerable one is completely purified," thinking this but saying nothing, is also motionless. For the meaning to be understood by words, saying nothing, the path of karma of speech will also arise, because even if not completely purified, saying nothing, one will think oneself purified. Another explanation is that the non-manifestation of the desire realm is not entirely dependent on manifestation, because in the five sections such as the Sutra on Obtaining Results, the Pratimoksha vows can arise. Therefore, some say that some non-virtuous actions can also become non-manifestation. Whoever is severed by the deterioration of view and discipline, also after the destruction of the body. "Because there is no splendor," splendor is in the region of the heart. Those who are unborn are the cause of equal share and pervasiveness.
