The objects of those who know non-arising are nine dharmas, except for the unconditioned and the unindicated. If asked whether one consciousness can know everything, the answer is no. However, the conventional alone, from its own aggregate, can know the selflessness of others. With conventional consciousness, one can know that all dharmas other than one's own aggregate are selfless, thus knowing the nature of selflessness. This is complete. It should be stated how many consciousnesses one possesses. Briefly, ordinary beings possess only one conventional consciousness. If one is free from attachment, one also possesses knowledge of others' minds. Noble ones, in the first moment of the uncontaminated, possess one contaminated consciousness. If one has not yet separated from attachment to desire, then in the forbearance of the dharma-knowledge of suffering, one possesses only one conventional consciousness. In the second, there are three. In the dharma-knowledge of suffering, one possesses three: conventional consciousness, dharma-knowledge, and suffering-knowledge. Above that, each of the four increases by one. In the subsequent knowledge of suffering, subsequent knowledge increases. In the dharma-knowledge of the origin, cessation, and path, only those increase. If one is free from attachment, one should know that one possesses additional knowledge of others' minds at all times. Furthermore, in what state does one obtain how many consciousnesses? In the path of seeing, the forbearance and the consciousness, how they arise, etc., are obtained in the future. In the path of seeing, the forbearance or consciousness, whichever arises similarly, in the future, only those four aspects are obtained. In that, the latter three also have the conventional. In that path of seeing, in the three subsequent knowledges of suffering, origin, and cessation, one also obtains conventional consciousness. It is not in dharma-knowledge, because the truth is exhausted. Therefore, it is called the limit of realization. Therefore, that conventional consciousness arises from the limit of realization. Does it sometimes directly realize? No, it never directly realizes. It is only one side. It is the nature of non-arising. How does one obtain the conventional consciousness of how many grounds? Through the path of seeing, oneself and the lower grounds. The path of seeing is of how many grounds?

And, one obtains the mundane knowledge of the lower realms. If one is a non-regressing individual, then one obtains one's own position and conduct in the desire realm. It is the same for others. So, how many close placements of mindfulness are one? The limit of cessation, from the realization of cessation arises the Dharma close placement of mindfulness. The rest are all four close placements of mindfulness. So, this arising from the limit of realization is the aspect of self-nature truth, arising from diligence. Whichever truth is obtained through realization, that is only the aspect of truth. Because it is obtained through the path of seeing, it is said to arise from application. This is the phrase. For the sixteen moments with attachment, there are six. For those who have not separated from attachment, in the moment of subsequent knowledge on the path, the second wisdom is now arising, namely path knowledge and subsequent knowledge on the path. In the future, six are obtained, namely Dharma knowledge, subsequent knowledge, suffering, origin, cessation, and path knowledge. For those who have separated from attachment in the desire realm, there are seven. The seventh is the knowledge of others' minds. Those above with attachment, on the path of cultivation, obtain seven. Above the sixteen moments, as long as one has not separated from attachment from the desire realm, then on the path of application, the path of no interruption, the path of liberation, and the special path, one obtains seven wisdoms, namely the six and mundane wisdom is the seventh. From the seven grounds, one obtains the excellent realization knowledge and the immovable, and the uninterrupted path of practice and cultivation, and the eight paths of liberation of the higher realms, the seven grounds are the four dhyanas and the three formless absorptions. From these, separation from attachment, and the five superknowledges, and realizing the immovable, and practicing meditation in succession, all those learners on the uninterrupted path of cultivation obtain seven wisdoms, namely those themselves. For those who realize the immovable, mundane wisdom is not obtained, there, the knowledge of exhaustion is the seventh. On the eight paths of liberation of the peak of existence, which are separated from attachment, one also obtains only the seven wisdoms, the knowledge of others' minds is the seventh, but not mundane wisdom, because it is not the antidote to the peak of existence.
